eufy HomeBase Hubs & Base Stations
The HomeBase is the brains of a eufy system: it stores your footage locally and links cameras, doorbells and sensors. Checked and dispatched from Townsville.
More about eufy HomeBase hubs ▾
HomeBase 3 (S380) is the current flagship, with 16GB built in and a drive bay that takes a 2.5-inch drive for up to 16TB. HomeBase 2 has 16GB and runs the eufyCam 2C family and the alarm sensors. HomeBase Mini is the compact one that comes in eufyCam C35 and C37 kits, with 8GB built in and a microSD slot.
Getting the match right matters, because some eufyCams won't run without the right hub. Our Compatibility Checker shows what pairs with what, and HomeBase 2 vs 3 vs Mini gives you the side-by-side. Every hub carries a 12-month CamGuard warranty on top of your Australian Consumer Law rights, and ships from Townsville.
Questions we get asked
Which HomeBase do my cameras need?
eufyCam S330 and S3 Pro need a HomeBase 3. eufyCam 2C, 2C Pro and E40 work with HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3. eufyCam C35 and C37 use HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3, not HomeBase 2. SoloCams don't need one. The Compatibility Checker covers everything else.
How many cameras can a HomeBase 3 run?
eufy rates it for up to 16 cameras, plus up to 34 sensors and other devices.
Can I add more storage?
HomeBase 3 takes a 2.5-inch SATA drive that runs on 5V, up to 16TB, and eufy's 1TB drive is in our Memory and Storage range. HomeBase Mini takes a microSD card up to 1TB.
Can I copy recordings off a HomeBase 3?
Yes. The eufy app's video archive feature exports clips from the HomeBase 3's built-in storage to a USB stick plugged into the hub.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. A HomeBase keeps recordings on local storage in your home, so there's nothing to pay each month to keep them.
Where should I put the HomeBase?
Next to your router, ideally connected with an Ethernet cable, and roughly central to your cameras. Walls, metal and distance all weaken the link between hub and camera, so shorter and clearer is better.
