Do I need a screen or a HomeBase?
No HomeBase: the C10 doesn't use one. You can watch in the eufy app on your phone over home Wi-Fi; a C10 screen is optional and sold separately.
Is the camera used because the box is damaged?
No. The camera is new and unused. Only the outer retail carton is dented, torn or scuffed.
Can it run without being plugged in?
No. There's no built-in battery, so it needs continuous USB-C power.
Does it replace checking on my baby?
No. It's a viewing aid, not a medical device, and not a substitute for adult supervision. It records; it doesn't prevent anything.
