HomeBase 3 is the local storage and AI hub for compatible eufy cameras, doorbells, locks and sensors. It starts with 16 GB built in and accepts an optional 5V 2.5-inch SATA drive up to 16 TB.

The hub is linked after setup. Compatible devices still need to be added individually, and some older models cannot join. Bureaucracy with model numbers is still bureaucracy.
Included: HomeBase 3 hub, power adapter with AU-compatible lead, Ethernet cable, reset pin, hard-drive screw pack and printed quick-start guide, supplied in protective packaging without the retail carton. This HomeBase 3 is new and unused stock separated from a genuine multi-camera kit.

The retail carton is the only standard package item omitted. The complete parcel contains the hub, AU-compatible power lead, Ethernet cable, reset pin, printed guide and hard-drive screw pack.

Compatible cameras supply the footage; HomeBase 3 stores it and runs supported AI features locally. The ecosystem can accommodate up to 16 cameras or doorbells plus up to 34 sensors.

It watches nothing by itself because it is not a camera. Add compatible devices first. It records compatible camera footage; it does not prevent incidents.
There is 16 GB of eMMC storage built in. Add your own compatible 5V 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD when you want more history, up to the stated 16 TB ceiling.
“Unlimited storage entitlement successfully granted.”
The entitlement is not unlimited. Sixteen gigabytes is included; sixteen terabytes is the maximum after you buy and fit a suitable drive. No hard drive is supplied.
The bar is decorative. Actual retention depends on connected devices, recording behaviour and installed capacity.
BionicMind processes supported facial recognition and human, vehicle and pet classifications on HomeBase 3. eufy advertises recognition accuracy up to 99.9 percent under its conditions; real results depend on compatible devices, placement, footage and learning.

No recognition system is absolute. The 99.9 percent figure belongs to eufy and is an up-to claim. Expect the system to learn familiar faces over time and keep sensible expectations.
Cross-camera tracking can combine a person’s related clips from supported cameras into a more continuous event view. Availability depends on compatible devices, current software and the feature being enabled.
“We have followed the subject through every camera in the Commonwealth.”
Only through compatible cameras linked to this HomeBase, and only where those cameras actually captured related events. The shed camera cannot file evidence about the front gate if it never saw it.
HomeBase 3 supports a broad range of eufy cameras, doorbells, locks and sensors, but not every product in every generation. Check the exact model code before replacing an older hub or building a mixed system.
“All eufy services are automatically eligible.”
Broadly compatible is not universally compatible. Newer HomeBase 3-specific cameras are welcome; some older wired doorbells, floodlights and cellular products are not. Ask with the model code when unsure.
Power the hub off before installing or removing a drive. Use a 5V 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD. Fit it to the internal bracket, reinstall the bracket, then initialise the drive in the eufy Security app. The retail hard-drive screw pack is included, so a drive fit is covered straight out of the parcel.
“Any hard drive from the drawer has been pre-approved.”
No. The physical size, SATA interface and 5V requirement matter. A desktop-sized or unsuitable 12V drive is not made compatible by filling out the form in block capitals.
Not supplied: the HDD or SSD. Included: the retail hard-drive screw pack, along with the rest of the boxed-version contents — so a drive fit is covered.
For initial setup, connect HomeBase 3 to your router with the supplied Ethernet cable, connect power, and wait up to about one minute for the status LED to turn blue before adding it in the app.

The hub has not developed cupboard vision. Plan a sensible indoor position, a nearby power outlet and a spare router LAN port before opening the app.
“Setup completed in a single secure click.”
There are four ordinary jobs: connect Ethernet and power, add the hub in the app, update it, then pair compatible devices. Optional storage is a fifth job only if you install a drive.
Choose a ventilated position near mains power and a router LAN port. The adapter must remain accessible.
Wait up to about one minute for the status LED to show blue.
Sign in to the eufy Security app, choose Add Device, select the hub and follow the prompts.
Install current firmware, then follow the app instructions for each compatible camera, lock or sensor.
“Technical details have been simplified for your convenience.”
They have been put back. The useful buying facts are model T8030, 16 GB built in, optional 16 TB expansion, Ethernet setup, indoor mains power and a compatibility check before purchase.
This New No Box unit is separated from a multi-camera kit and travels with the complete standard functional contents in protective packaging. Optional storage drives and cameras are separate purchases because they are not part of the HomeBase parcel.

Not this time. The hub, its power adapter and the Ethernet cable travel together. The portal has confused “no box” with “no contents,” and “split from a kit” with “stripped bare,” two distinctions already explained in three departments.
“This service is suitable for every Australian household.”
Probably not if you wanted a camera, need a sealed retail carton, expect a hard drive in the parcel, have no Ethernet path or own only incompatible devices.

They are answered below in this department: condition, contents, hub role, optional storage, compatibility and dispatch. Nobody is being transferred to a hold queue.
