Indoor hub
Place it on a dry, ventilated indoor shelf with power and suitable network access. It is not weather-rated outdoor hardware.
CONTROL RESULT: recordings, notifications, alarms and access depend on exact-model compatibility, current firmware, power, network conditions, settings and the connected product. HomeBase 2 does not promise prevention, intervention, identification or capture of every event.

The built-in 16GB eMMC stores compatible event recordings. It cannot accept the internal SATA drive used with HomeBase 3, and there is no microSD slot hiding under a persuasive sticker.

Small-accessory boundary: the renewal programme does not pack to the retail contents list, so a metal reset pin and printed Quick Start Guide are not promised. Ask CamGuard before ordering if either item matters to you. No expansion drive or drive hardware applies because HomeBase 2 has no expansion bay.

Confirm the models
Check every camera, doorbell or sensor model against current HomeBase 2 compatibility material. Ask CamGuard when a model is not explicit.
Power and Ethernet
Place the hub indoors with ventilation, connect the power adapter and use the included Ethernet cable to a router LAN port for setup.
Add and update
Add HomeBase 2 in the eufy app and install current firmware before pairing devices. E20/E10 sensor support needs v3.4.1.2 or later.
Pair and test
Add compatible products, create a test event and confirm live view, event storage, notifications and intended siren behaviour.
A successful hub setup does not make an undocumented product compatible. Keep the exact model numbers, firmware, placement and network conditions in the test record.

What does Manufacturer Renewed mean?
It means previously used stock that was refurbished and tested through the manufacturer’s renewal programme. CamGuard Australia did not perform that work. Minor cosmetic marks and non-retail packaging are possible.
What exactly is included?
HomeBase 2 (T8010), power adapter with an Australian-compatible plug lead, Ethernet cable and renewed protective packaging.
Are the reset pin and printed guide included?
They are not promised. Renewed parcels are not packed to the retail contents list. Ask CamGuard to check the physical parcel if either small accessory matters.
Which products can pair with it?
Documented families include eufyCam 2, 2C, 2 Pro, 2C Pro and E40, plus supported battery doorbells and E20/E10 sensors under the stated firmware condition. Exact model compatibility controls; HomeBase 3-only and HomeBase Mini-only products are not made compatible by similar-looking hardware.
Does setup need Ethernet?
Yes. An initial router LAN connection is required. An Ethernet cable is included; keep a spare LAN port available.
Can I expand the 16GB storage?
No. The 16GB eMMC is fixed. HomeBase 2 has no SATA expansion bay and no microSD slot.
Does it record continuously?
No. It stores event recordings delivered by compatible products. It is not a continuous 24/7-recording NVR.
Can it be installed outdoors?
No. HomeBase 2 is an indoor hub. Keep it dry, powered and ventilated with suitable network access.
Who provides the warranty?
CamGuard Australia provides its own 12-month warranty for covered faults. It is not a manufacturer warranty, and Australian Consumer Law rights continue alongside it.
When will it be dispatched?
CamGuard’s typical handling target is same-day to 1 business day, although busy periods can take longer. Tracking follows after Australia Post receives the parcel.
What does postage cost?
Australia Post Express is included on orders over $99.00. Under that threshold, tracked postage is $9.95 or Express is $12.95.
Is this a complete camera system?
No. This parcel contains the HomeBase 2 hub and listed accessories, not cameras. Compatible products are sold separately.
