WIRED SEASON
Existing 8 to 24V AC doorbell wiring rated greater than 10VA can provide ongoing power. Wiring suitability and safe installation remain your responsibility; use a qualified person where the circuit or local requirements demand one.

Compatible eufy chimes: MiniBase Chime T8023 and Video Doorbell Chime 2 T8026 are supported options sold separately. Match the exact model before buying.
Smart speakers: compatible Alexa devices can announce visitors when correctly linked. Apple HomeKit is not supported.

Will it work without a HomeBase?
Yes. The E340 is a standalone doorbell with 8GB eMMC storage built in, so a HomeBase is not required for core operation. HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3 can be added for supported ecosystem and storage features. Neither hub is included in this listing, despite Porchflix suggesting a crossover episode.
How will I hear the bell if there is no chime in the package?
Your phone can receive notifications through the eufy Security app. For an indoor ring, add a compatible MiniBase Chime T8023, Video Doorbell Chime 2 T8026, compatible Alexa speaker, or an optional HomeBase 3. In the E340 settings, choose Indoor Chime and then HomeBase as Chime when using that route.
