After-dark collection
Lights down. Little boxes tucked in.
Colour night vision helps you see the doorstep after daylight clocks off. A brown box can remain a brown box, rather than joining a very mysterious grey-box society.
The dual-light system supports colour viewing after dark. Image detail varies with distance, placement, lighting and weather. The bedtime story is fictional; those limits are real.

A camera. Not a nanny.
We have given cardboard boxes personalities. We have not given a doorbell arms.
The E340 records, does not prevent. It cannot physically stop theft, move a parcel out of the rain or guarantee that every event is detected.

Keep the battery charged and Wi-Fi usable at the door. Good intentions are not a wireless standard.

IP65 applies to the doorbell, not the cardboard. It cannot issue your air fryer a raincoat.

The collection intercom
Use your outside voice. From inside your day.
Two-way audio in the eufy app lets you speak with someone at the door. Useful for directions, questions and confirming that “under cover” actually means under cover.
The conversation depends on a working connection. The person at the door still has to listen. We have yet to find a firmware update for that.
The air fryer is not authorised to answer.

Keep the clips. Skip the compulsory storage bill.
The E340 has 8GB of local storage built in for event clips. No required subscription for that storage, and no microSD card shopping trip before the first day.

Retention depends on activity and recording settings. Save anything important promptly. The clip of your latest delivery is not promised a permanent place on the fridge.

The important clips can come home with you. Export the ones you want to keep.
Pack enough energy for the day
Rechargeable. Unlike the parent.
Use the supplied removable rechargeable battery, or a compatible wired installation. Pick the arrangement that suits the doorway you actually have.
Battery: take the lunchbox out.
Remove and recharge the pack when needed. Battery life varies with usage and settings; “until the next sale” is not a measurable interval.
Wired: keep the lunchbox in.
The battery stays installed in wired mode. Check the current eufy installation requirements and electrical compatibility before connecting anything. Use a qualified installer for wiring work.

Your phone is enrolled. The chime is an extra.
E340 works independently on home Wi-Fi through the eufy app. A HomeBase is optional. A separate indoor chime is not included in this doorbell-only package.

Settling in · four practical steps
A good first day starts before the holes.
Charge the battery.
Fully charge the supplied pack and install it in the doorbell. Follow the guide supplied with your E340.
Everyone arrives fed.
Add it in the app.
Use the eufy app's guided setup and connect the doorbell to your home wireless network.
No glitter on the password.
Try both sightlines.
Preview the person view and the lower doorstep view at your proposed mounting spot. Check signal there too.
The mat gets a say.
Mount, then fine-tune.
Fit the bracket and wedge as appropriate. Adjust detection, activity zones and notifications to suit your entrance.
Then collect the air fryer.
For wired installation, follow the current E340 instructions and use a qualified installer for electrical work. The cardboard enrolment officer cannot approve your transformer.

You want an indoor chime in the box.
This is the doorbell-only package. The ringtone has not gone home early; the separate chime is not included.

Apple HomeKit is essential.
E340 does not support it. A really persuasive permission slip will not change that.

You need continuous recording.
Choose for the E340's event-based operation, not an assumed all-day video archive.

Your entrance has no usable Wi-Fi.
Sort out connectivity before mounting. A gold star is not a range extender.

You expect a theft-prevention service.
It is a camera and doorbell. The daycare uniform is fictional; no person is remotely guarding your packages.

Open the air fryer's behaviour note
Refused to share the mat. The lower camera could show the disagreement, but could not mediate. Collection by an actual human is recommended.
Does the E340 need a HomeBase to start?
No. This E340 can run independently when connected to your home wireless router and set up in the eufy app. Its local storage is built in. Compatible HomeBase equipment is an optional route, sold separately, rather than a compulsory extra hiding behind the enrolment form.
What rings indoors with this package?
A separate indoor chime is not included. You can use the app and choose an E340-compatible indoor ringing option if required. A separately purchased HomeBase 3 can act as the chime when paired and configured accordingly. Check the exact accessory model before buying; compatibility is more specific than “another eufy thing”.
Can the lower camera tell what I bought?
No. Package detection and a downward view do not identify the contents of a delivery. The air fryers, sock parcels and daycare personalities on this page are illustrations and jokes. Detection depends on the parcel being visible and on conditions and settings; an obscured box may not be recognised.
Will local recording need a subscription?
The E340 includes 8GB of built-in local storage for event clips without a required storage subscription. Available history varies with activity and recording settings, so there is no fixed number of days promised here. Export important clips before overwrite, reset or storage changes. The fridge door cannot hold everything forever.
Can it use my old doorbell's wires?
Possibly, if the electrical supply and installation meet the current E340 requirements. The battery remains installed when wired. Confirm compatibility against the instructions for the exact unit and use a qualified installer for electrical work. A pair of existing wires is a starting point for assessment, not proof that the installation is suitable.
What does Brand New mean on this page?
This listing is for new, unused E340 stock in original factory-sealed eufy retail packaging. It is not manufacturer renewed or open-box stock. The doorbell and its standard accessories are included; a separate indoor chime and HomeBase are not. Manufacturer product images show the model, rather than a photograph of your individual sealed unit.
When does the parcel leave your centre?
We do our best to get orders out the same day. Same-day to one business day is our typical dispatch time from Townsville; during busy periods it can extend, although that is rare. Dispatch is separate from carrier transit time. Your order's tracking is the useful update once it has been sent.

For Shopify orders, Australia Post Express is included at $99.00 and above. Below $99.00, tracked shipping is $9.95 or Express is $12.95. We do our best to dispatch the same day; same-day to one business day is typical from Townsville. Busy periods can extend this, though that is rare. Transit times vary and are not guaranteed.
Change-of-mind returns
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, with the item complete, unused and in resaleable condition. The buyer pays the return postage, and original shipping is not refunded. Contact us to arrange a return. These conditions do not limit your rights for faulty or incorrectly described goods.
Our own 12-month warranty
We provide our own 12-month warranty for your purchase. This is not a manufacturer warranty. Australian Consumer Law rights continue alongside it. For an item that is faulty or not as described, we cover return postage and handle the appropriate remedy under our warranty and your consumer rights.
