Identical to every other grade and to a sealed unit: 4K, 135°, F/1.4 starlight, solar, BionicMind, IP67. A grade describes paintwork. It does not describe capability, and there is no such thing as a camera that records in a lower resolution because it has a scratch.
How we grade: the standard Australian refurbished test — hold the unit about 30 cm away in normal light. Grade A: nothing visible at that distance. Grade B: visible at 30 cm, but you can't feel it. Grade C: visible at 30 cm and you can feel it. Same scale the big Australian refurb sellers use, so you already know how to read it.

4K at 3840 × 2160 through an F/1.4 lens with a starlight sensor — eufy rates it as reading number plates up to 10 m out. A wide F/1.4 aperture is the part that matters after dark: it's how you get usable colour instead of grey mush.

Colour and infrared night vision are rated to around 25 ft, with a motion-activated 100-lumen spotlight that doubles as a deterrent. The 365-day battery figure is eufy's, measured at roughly 300 seconds of recording a day — a busy driveway will draw more, and the solar panel is what quietly makes up the difference.
The point
Nobody asks to see your driving record before they get in the car. They ask whether the car goes.
Here's the thing about renewed gear that most sellers would rather you didn't think too hard about: the grade on the box describes the paintwork. It doesn't describe the camera. An A-grade eufyCam 3 and a C-grade eufyCam 3 shoot the same 4K through the same F/1.4 lens onto the same HomeBase 3, and carry the same warranty from us.
So we grade them the way you'd read a driving record. Every mark gets written down, given a value, and priced. Nothing is described as "minor wear" and left for you to discover on the ladder. If there are points on the file, they're on the file.
This one is the bottom of the ladder and the best value on it. Nine points: obvious wear, listed in full, priced accordingly. It still shoots the same 4K through the same F/1.4 lens, still runs on the same sunlight, still carries the same twelve months from us.
Nine points is still comfortably inside the limit. It's licensed, it's legal, and it will do the job for years. It just looks like it has already done a few. If appearance matters to you at all, Grade A and Grade B are up the ladder and just as honest about their own records.

CAUTION
Solar needs actual sun, not just daylight.
eufy's two-hours-a-day figure means two hours of direct sunlight. Under a deep verandah, on a permanently shaded south wall, or behind a mango tree, you'll be charging it by cable a few times a year. Point the panel at the sky, not at the wall.

It records at 15 fps, not 30.
eufy's spec sheet lists 4K at 15 frames per second. That's normal and deliberate on battery cameras — it's a big part of how the battery lasts — and for property surveillance it looks fine. If you were expecting smooth slow-motion of a car going past, this isn't that.

Footage lives on the HomeBase 3, not the camera.
There's no card slot on the camera. Everything records to the HomeBase 3 — 16 GB built in, expandable to 16 TB with your own drive. That's the trade for having no subscription: the hub is the single place your footage lives.

HomeBase Mini and HomeBase Professional S1 — we're not claiming either way.
eufy's published compatibility material addresses HomeBase 3 and explicitly rules out several older hubs, but doesn't state a position on the HomeBase Mini or the HomeBase Professional S1 for this camera. So we won't either. Buy it for a HomeBase 3, or check with eufy first.
CAUTION
Grade C cosmetics — visible at 30 cm and perceptible to touch.
Obvious scuffing and scratching across the housing, marks around the bracket points, and a generally worn appearance — you can see it at 30 cm and feel it with a fingertip. This is the honest bottom of our renewed range. Everything works exactly as it should and the warranty is identical — but if you would be disappointed opening the parcel, buy Grade A or Grade B instead. We would rather sell you the right one than take the return.

Getting started
The practical test.

Charge it before you climb anything.
Renewed units arrive part-charged at best. Put it on USB-C until it's full while you're deciding where it goes — it saves you doing the whole job twice.

Pair it to the HomeBase 3.
Open the eufy Security app, choose Add Device, and follow the pairing steps with the camera near the HomeBase 3. Do this at the kitchen bench, not up a ladder. It takes a couple of minutes.

Mount it where the sun is.
Screw the bracket in, clip the camera on, and angle it so the integrated solar panel gets genuine direct sun for a couple of hours a day. North-facing and unshaded beats convenient. Then aim the lens where you actually want it looking.

Tune the detection, then leave it alone.
Set activity zones so it ignores the footpath and the neighbour's driveway, choose which detection types you want alerts for, and set the spotlight behaviour. Ten minutes here saves you a hundred pointless notifications a week.
Examiner's tip: mount it high enough that it isn't easy to reach, low enough that it sees faces rather than the tops of heads. Around 2.5 to 3 metres, angled slightly down, is the sweet spot most people land on eventually — you may as well start there.
