Do the sensors need a HomeBase?

Yes, every sensor and control pairs with a HomeBase. The current E20 sensors and E10 controls work with HomeBase 2, HomeBase 3 and HomeBase Mini on up-to-date firmware, so update an older HomeBase 2 before pairing.

Will they work with my Australian HomeBase?

Yes. They pair with Australian and US HomeBase models alike.

Where should a motion sensor go?

High in a corner, looking across the room rather than straight at a window, heater or air conditioner, which can set off false alarms. If you have pets, think about what's at floor level in its view.

Where do entry sensors go?

The sensor goes on the frame and the magnet on the door or window, lined up and close together when shut. Start with the doors you use most: front, back and the internal garage door.

How loud is the indoor siren?

The Indoor Siren E20 is rated at 110dB, and eufy rates its backup battery at 48 hours.

Can I arm the alarm without my phone?

Yes. The keypad and key fob arm and disarm the system, handy for kids or anyone who'd rather skip the app. The keypad sits by the door like a traditional alarm panel.
