AU or US HomeBase both pair fine — the “requires a US-version HomeBase” line on some eufy pages does not hold in practice.

No. The E10 is a physical controller for a compatible eufy HomeBase alarm system and has no useful standalone mode. It does not pair directly with a phone or a camera. Confirm the exact hub and firmware before ordering, then add the fob through that HomeBase in the eufy app.
Which HomeBases can it use?
The current listing names HomeBase Mini, post-2021 HomeBase 2, HomeBase 3 and HomeBase Professional S1 routes, subject to exact model, region and firmware. Compatibility guidance can change, so update the base and check the current exact support documentation rather than relying only on the shared HomeBase name.
Does the SOS button call emergency services?
No. Holding SOS for two seconds sends the configured command to the compatible HomeBase. The resulting alarm or account notification depends on your system setup. The fob is not a monitored-emergency device, does not place a phone call and cannot guarantee that another person will see or act on a notification.
Does the fob make an alarm sound?
No. The Key Fob E10 itself is not a pocket siren. It sends Home, Away, Disarm or SOS commands to the paired HomeBase. Any siren, mode tone or notification comes from the compatible devices and app behavior configured in that system, subject to connectivity, settings and firmware.
Will it work 200 metres through my house?
