The weather rating is IP53. eufy's own figure. That does not change the indoor usage scenario stated on the same page.
No Apple Home, Matter or IFTTT. eufy's own page states this plainly. It works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
No ANSI/BHMA grade published for this model on eufy's own comparison table. The C33 (its sibling lever lock) carries a published Grade 3 rating; we could not find an equivalent rating stated for the C32.

What you need
Before you bring it home
This is an indoor lever lock for a matching pre-bored door, powered by four AA batteries. Connected features use the eufy app and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; a HomeBase is not needed. Check both door measurements and handle clearance before buying, especially if another lock or handle sits nearby.
Power and connection
A flat battery needs temporary power
The exterior USB-C port supplies emergency power from a portable charger if the AA batteries run flat; it does not recharge them. The physical key is another entry option. Keep it accessible outside the locked room, rather than treating a charger stored inside as an emergency plan.
Measure your door first. Check bore hole (2 1/8 in), backset (2 3/8 in or 2 3/4 in) and door thickness (1 3/8 in to 2 1/6 in) against eufy's published figures before you order or fit anything.
Fit the included batteries as directed during installation. Use the four AA batteries supplied and follow the installation sequence in the guide. The exterior USB-C port accepts emergency power only; it does not recharge the AA batteries.
Pair it in the eufy app. The lock connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi directly; there is no HomeBase step.
Install with just a screwdriver. eufy's own figure is about 15 minutes. Enrol fingerprints (up to 50) and set passcodes (up to 100) once it's fitted.

The C32 connects directly to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, so it does not require a HomeBase or separate bridge. Bluetooth is used during setup and reset, then remains inactive in normal operation.
Confirm usable 2.4GHz signal at the intended doorway. A dual-band router may serve both bands, but the lock needs the 2.4GHz service. Moving the arcade stool one metre to the left is not a formal coverage plan.

If the cells are depleted, the exterior USB-C port can accept temporary emergency power from a suitable source. It does not charge the AA batteries. The physical key remains another fallback, not a collectible to spend at the prize counter.
