Capacity for a busy roster
The C32 supports up to 50 fingerprints and 100 passcodes. Remove access when it is no longer required instead of leaving former pet-sitters in the system until their own long-service-leave morning tea.
eufy publishes a 0.3-second fingerprint recognition figure under its test conditions. Actual response can vary with enrolment, finger placement and conditions, so it is a performance reference rather than a timesheet guarantee.

No HomeBase induction
The C32 connects directly to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. No HomeBase and no separate bridge are required. Bluetooth supports setup and reset, then is inactive during normal operation.
Confirm usable 2.4GHz signal at the intended doorway. A dual-band router may provide both bands, but the C32 needs 2.4GHz. The office instant-coffee jar has been power-cycled and remains unrelated.

Main cross-bore: 2 1/8 in. Measure existing preparation.

Suitable wood or metal can work inside those limits. A screwdriver is required and not included. “Can probably learn on the job” is not a door dimension.

The C32 is for a compatible bedroom, study, home office, internal storeroom or similar indoor door. eufy does not recommend this model for a front door or a door exposed to rain.
The published IP53 specification does not create an exterior vacancy. The C32 manages access to a suitable internal room. It does not make an unsuitable door suitable or prevent every unwanted entry. Applications from the front porch will not progress to interview.
Power leave balance
Four AAs on the payroll
eufy's battery estimate is more than five months based on 20 unlocks per day, with actual life varying by use, network quality and environment. The lock raises a low-battery warning below 20%.
If the cells are depleted, the exterior USB-C input can provide temporary emergency power from a suitable source. It does not charge the AA batteries. The physical key is the other fallback and has accepted casual relief on the condition that someone saves it a slice.

What does Brand New mean in this role?
It means factory-sealed stock in full original retail packaging. CamGuard Australia does not open the sealed pack to inspect or test the individual unit. Published imagery identifies the C32 model, and the unopened original pack preserves its Brand New condition.
Can the C32 transfer to a front-door role?
No. eufy's guidance specifies indoor use and says the C32 is not recommended for a front door or a rain-exposed door. IP53 does not override that direction. Its suitable workplace is a compatible bedroom, study, office or other internal room.
Does it need HomeBase induction?
No HomeBase or separate bridge is required. The C32 connects directly to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth supports setup and reset. Check the intended doorway for coverage before fitting the lock; an IT ticket marked “urgent” does not create radio signal.
What happens when the batteries clock off?
The exterior USB-C input accepts temporary emergency power from a suitable source so the lock can wake for authentication. It does not charge the AA cells. A physical key is also supplied as a conventional backup and should be stored somewhere known rather than the office mystery drawer.
Which smart-home teams are supported?
Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are supported in eufy's current C32 information. Apple HomeKit, Matter and IFTTT are not. If one of those platforms is mandatory, recruit another model instead of rewriting the position description after induction.
When will CamGuard Australia dispatch?
We make a best effort to dispatch on the same day. Same-day to 1 business day is our typical handling time, and busy periods can extend that, though it is rare. Australia Post timing then applies. Confirm fitment first so the parcel does not immediately apply for return leave.

CamGuard Australia provides our own 12-month warranty. It is not a manufacturer warranty. We are an independent Australian reseller and importer.

Returns
Change of mind: 30 days from delivery, complete and unused, buyer pays return postage, and original shipping is not refunded.
Faulty or not as described: CamGuard Australia covers return postage.
