Do I need a HomeBase?

No for core standalone operation. HomeBase 3 / S380 and HomeBase Professional S1 are supported optional routes. HomeBase 2 and HomeBase Mini are unsupported.

Is every moment recorded?

No. This is a battery/solar motion-event camera. It records triggered clips rather than continuous 24/7 footage.

Will the panel eliminate manual charging?

Not as a fixed promise. eufy suggests around two hours of direct sun daily for typical use. Shade, season, angle, events, settings and Wi-Fi all affect the result.

Can human detection identify everyone?

No. It assists with focusing events on people. Placement and scene conditions matter, and it cannot guarantee detection, identity or complete capture.

What warranty applies?
