BUILT-IN SOLARThe exact condition gets the first walkthrough because “Excellent” is a grade, not a secret passage to “Brand New”.
This camera was previously used, then processed through the manufacturer’s renewal programme and graded Excellent. It is fully functional and may show a light cosmetic handling mark.
It commonly arrives in renewed non-retail packaging. The renewal work is not performed by CamGuard Australia; our separate 12-month warranty covers the unit we sell.
The floor plan is built around the S230’s actual hardware rather than a feature wall nobody requested.
The panel is built into the camera. eufy recommends at least about two hours of direct sunlight daily for typical use; actual charging changes with shade, season, angle, settings and event volume.

The S230 records motion events; it is not a 24/7 continuous camera. In renovation language: you get the reveal, not an eight-week livestream of somebody waiting for plaster to dry.
The best-looking camera position is useless if the solar panel lives in deep shade or the Wi-Fi signal stops at the laundry.
Give the renewed camera a complete initial charge before installing it outside.
S230 connects directly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It does not use 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

No. The S230 records when motion is detected. It has no 24/7 continuous-recording mode and no pre-buffer.
Standalone use is the safe baseline. Current eufy tables list T8124 with HomeBase 3 and Professional S1, but older eufy S40 pages conflict. Ask us to check your intended setup before purchase if hub use is essential.
Our typical dispatch window is same-day to 1 business day from Townsville, Queensland. Busy periods can take a little longer, although that is uncommon. Tracking follows once the carrier has the parcel.
