Built-in Wi-Fi covers the eufy app. Apple Home, Alexa, Google or SmartThings control through Matter runs over Thread and needs a compatible hub.
It will not join a 5GHz-only network. During pairing, use a 2.4GHz channel from one to eleven—not twelve or thirteen.
Renewed parcels are not promised to include eight AA batteries. Have a fresh set ready.
This is Smart Lock E30 model T85F1—not eufy’s SoloCam, Indoor Cam or Floodlight models that also use E30.

No. The E30 uses timed locking without door-position detection. It begins its configured countdown after an unlock, so make sure the door is physically closed before the deadbolt engages.

The lock assemblies and fitting hardware are promised. Loose renewed-pack extras can vary: backup keys are usually present but not guaranteed until checked; AA batteries and a printed guide are not promised. Ask CamGuard to inspect this parcel before you buy.
Use the physical backup key, or apply temporary emergency power through the exterior USB-C port. That port is a jump-start, not a charger; replace the AA batteries afterward.
