- HomeKit uses 1080p. Full 4K is available through the eufy app. Apple HomeKit video is limited to 1080p.
- Check your Wi-Fi. The camera connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. It does not support a 5 GHz-only network.
- Choose your storage. A microSD card is sold separately. HomeBase 3 is an optional alternative for local storage.
- Tilt figures differ. Product imagery lists 70° tilt; eufy’s regional comparison lists 75°. We confirm motorised tilt, without promising one exact angle.

What you need
Give the camera constant power
The indoor E30 needs continuous USB-C power and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Set it up in the eufy app before mounting. A HomeBase is optional. Keep the supplied model’s operating environment between 0 °C and 40 °C, and check this offer’s contents before assuming every retail mounting accessory is present.
Recording and storage
Record locally, continuously or by event
Fit a compatible Class 10 microSD card up to 128 GB for local recording, or use a supported HomeBase route. The card and optional hub are separate purchases. The E30 supports continuous and event recording. Apple HomeKit uses a lower video-resolution limit than the native eufy mode.
Power and connection
Power loss stops this camera
This is a continuously powered camera. eufy says its wired indoor, outdoor and floodlight cameras shut down during a power outage, cannot detect motion or record events, and start again when power returns. That guidance does not establish what every feature does during a Wi-Fi-only or internet-only outage.

Is an Excellent-grade unit worse at its job than a new one?
No. The grade describes the housing, not the electronics. A renewed unit runs the same published spec sheet. The difference is cosmetic marks and the plain packaging it ships in.
Do I need a HomeBase?
No. You can use the camera with local microSD storage. HomeBase 3 is an optional alternative.
Can it record continuously?
Yes. It supports continuous and event recording. Provide suitable storage and keep the camera powered.
Does HomeKit show 4K video?
No. HomeKit is limited to 1080p. Use the eufy app for full 4K.

Indoor use only. It runs from mains power and has no battery. Plan it where a compatible USB power lead and adapter can reach, where 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is reliable and where household members know it is present; a compatible Australian USB-to-AC adapter is supplied separately, while the USB lead and original retail adapter remain unconfirmed.
