Keep the hub inside and use the eufy App to manage your setup. The cameras do the looking; this is where their supported recordings can be stored.

This listing is for one HomeBase Mini hub. It is not a camera kit and does not take pictures by itself. Pair it with a supported device to give its recordings a central home.
You do not need another HomeBase to run this HomeBase. You do need a compatible camera or device, suitable power, your home network and the app. A second tin would just confuse everyone.

Built-in eMMC storage means the hub has storage on board. System firmware occupies part of that capacity, so the amount available for recordings is less than the number on the label.

Need more room? Add a compatible microSD card up to 1TB. The card is separate, and the usable recording period depends on your devices and settings. There is no sensible one-size-fits-all promise of how many days will fit.

Local storage does not require a monthly storage subscription. Buy the hardware, use its supported local-storage features and leave another recurring bill off the household list.
Optional cloud or premium services can cost extra. Enabling cloud-based functions can also involve sending footage or thumbnails to the cloud. Local storage is a choice, not a claim that every app function stays offline.

Use the correct power supply. eufy specifies 5V/2A for reliable HomeBase Mini operation; a random lower-powered adapter from the drawer is not a clever shortcut.
The drawer's collection of mystery chargers is not a specification.

Useful is personal.
A compact local-storage hub is useful when your devices support it and you are comfortable buying renewed hardware. It is less useful when you meant to buy a camera.
We found the sewing kit. It still won't pair.

Is renewed the same as new?
No. Manufacturer Renewed means previously used hardware that has been professionally refurbished and tested through the manufacturer's renewal programme. Minor cosmetic marks may be present. All standard accessories are supplied, but original product packaging is not included. We do not claim to have tested your individual unit. Our own 12-month warranty applies alongside your Australian Consumer Law rights.
Why does the app show less storage?
The hub's nominal built-in capacity is 8GB, and system firmware uses some of it. The remaining available space is therefore lower. That is expected behaviour, not a missing accessory. Storage can be expanded with a compatible microSD card, purchased separately, up to the supported 1TB limit.
Can I use a camera I already own?
Check its exact model against eufy's current HomeBase Mini compatibility guidance first. C35 and C37 are supported examples, with firmware requirements applying. Support for another HomeBase does not automatically establish Mini support. Send us the camera model before ordering if you need help choosing the right hub.
Does local storage mean no internet at all?
Local describes where supported recordings are stored. It does not promise that every app function works without network access. Follow eufy's setup requirements for your hub and camera. Optional cloud functions may transfer thumbnails or video to the cloud, and optional premium services may have separate charges.
Can I pop in a larger card later?
Yes, the Mini supports microSD expansion up to 1TB. Buy a compatible card separately and follow eufy's installation and formatting instructions. Power the device off before inserting or removing a card. Preserve anything important before formatting, because formatting a card erases the data on it.
Will the parcel leave today?
We do our best to send orders the same day. Our typical dispatch time is same-day to one business day; busy periods can extend that, although this is rare. Dispatch is separate from delivery time. The shipping charges and services for this Shopify order are shown clearly below.

Australia Post Express is included on orders over $99.00. For orders under $99.00, shipping is $9.95 tracked or $12.95 Express.
We do our best to get orders out the same day. Same-day to one business day is our typical dispatch time. During busy periods it can extend, although that is rare.
Delivery time is separate from dispatch and depends on the delivery service and destination.

Change-of-mind returns
For Shopify change-of-mind returns, the buyer pays return postage and original shipping is not refunded. If the product is faulty or not as described, we cover return postage. Your Australian Consumer Law rights are unaffected.
Our warranty
This product comes with our own 12-month in-house warranty. It is provided by CamGuard Australia, not the manufacturer. It applies in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law; those rights are not limited by our warranty period.
