105dB
Lights, a siren and a voice.
- Red and blue warning lights on the moving head.
- Spotlight for colour video after dark.
- 105 dB siren, rated at 0.1 m.
- Full-duplex two-way audio with dual microphones.
Deterrence features draw attention. They don't prevent an incident.2
Sun by day. Battery by night. Plug in for 24/7.
Detachable SolarPlus 2.0 panel. eufy rates it to start charging from about 2,500 lux, and says around an hour of direct sun a day covers typical use.3
A quick-swap battery. Slide it out, charge it inside with the included USB cable (bring your own wall adapter), click it back in.
For cable top-ups, or direct power in Dual Power Mode.

Keep it together.Mount the panel on the camera when the view and the sunlight share the same spot.
Give the panel its own place.Keep the camera on your approach and put the panel where the sun lands. The extension cable and a panel bracket are included.
Want 24/7? Plug it in.
On battery or solar it records events. Continuous recording needs four things lined up, per eufy's Australian FAQ.
- 1Direct USB power from a 5 V / 3 A adapter or higher. Not included, and eufy's US guidance differs, so ask us for the exact supply first.
- 2Camera firmware V1.0.5.4 or later.
- 3A microSD card, or a HomeBase 3 (V3.7.2.8 or later) with a hard drive. Neither included.
- 4A steady 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal at the mount.
32 GB inside. Room to grow.
Clips save to the camera, with no monthly fee required for the core local features.4 Add a microSD card for more, or a HomeBase 3 for a lot more.
The first two bars are to scale; HomeBase 3 runs off the chart. Optional cloud or premium services may cost extra.
Works on its own. Plays well with some.

Is S4 right for you?
Made for
- Driveways and front yards where you want the whole scene and a close look at once.
- No cabling to the mount: solar and battery, with plug-in as an option later.
- Reliable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi where the camera goes.
- Local storage without a required monthly plan.
- Starting with one camera and adding a HomeBase 3 or HomeBase Professional S1 later, if ever.
Look elsewhere if
- You need 24/7 on battery. Continuous recording needs direct power, storage and current firmware.
- Your Wi-Fi is 5 GHz only. It connects on 2.4 GHz.
- You run HomeBase 2, Mini or a eufy NVR. None are supported.
- Your setup depends on Apple Home. HomeKit isn't supported.
- You want PoE wiring. This is the wireless S4, not the PoE model.
Up in four steps.
- Step 1
Charge
Charge the battery with the included USB cable and an adapter of your own.
- Step 2
Connect
Add the S4 in the eufy app near your router, then check the 2.4 GHz signal where it'll mount.
- Step 3
Position
Aim the fixed lens at your main approach. Panel on the camera, or on its own bracket in the sun.
- Step 4
Fine-tune
Set the moving head's home view and your zones, then walk the approach to check alerts and tracking.
Questions, answered.
Why New No Box, and where's the carton?
We buy S4 multi-camera kits in bulk and split them into single cameras. It's the same trick as the big warehouse run: grab the jumbo pack of loo paper, split it with the neighbours, and everyone pays less per roll. A kit's one big carton can't be split, so each camera ships in plain protective packaging instead. It's new and never used, with every standard single-camera accessory. We pass the bulk savings on and keep a small nibble to cover our costs and the 12-month warranty we honour ourselves. With the price of everything up lately, that means more camera for your money. We call it New No Box rather than Brand New simply because the retail carton isn't there.
Do I need a HomeBase or a subscription?
No to both for standalone use. The S4 connects straight to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and saves clips to its built-in 32 GB, with room for a microSD card up to 256 GB. A HomeBase 3 or a HomeBase Professional S1 is optional; HomeBase 3 adds features such as stranger alerts. Optional cloud or premium services may cost extra.
Can it record 24/7?
Only on direct power. On battery or solar it records events, not a continuous feed. For 24/7 recording eufy's Australian FAQ calls for a 5 V / 3 A or higher USB supply, camera firmware V1.0.5.4 or later, and a microSD card or HomeBase 3 drive. Ask us before buying the adapter, since eufy's US guidance lists a different rating.
How much sun does the panel need?
eufy's figure is about one hour of direct sun a day for typical use, with charging starting from roughly 2,500 lux. Deep shade, long cloudy stretches and a busy driveway all use more than the sun puts back, so keep an eye on the battery level in the app and top it up by cable when you need to.
Does it work with Apple Home?
No. Apple HomeKit isn't supported on the S4, so it's not the camera for a setup that relies on Apple Home. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are on eufy's supported list.
How quickly will it leave Townsville?
We do our best to get orders out the same day. Same day to 1 business day is our typical dispatch time from Townsville, Queensland. During busy periods it can take a little longer, though that's rare. Australia Post delivery time is on top of dispatch.
