This is Brand New stock in the original factory-sealed retail box. It is not New No Box, Open Box or renewed stock dressed up for opening night. The parcel arrives as the complete retail presentation, not a camera loose in the back seat under three old takeaway menus.

Projectionist's noteThe S4 can work directly on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with 32GB built-in local storage. HomeBase S380 is optional and sold separately. HomeBase 2, HomeBase Mini and the eufy NVR are not supported partners for this camera.
Tonight's triple feature
Three screens. One mounting point. No fake “basically 8K” arithmetic.
The upper lens keeps the broad plot on screen while the lower PTZ assembly can follow movement and offer a tighter view. Each stream has a job; adding their resolutions together would be cinema maths performed by someone who also measures popcorn by emotional value.

The moving scene
The 2K PTZ wide role pans through 360° and tilts from 0° to 70°. It can follow supported movement without asking the fixed lens to abandon the establishing shot.

The closer cut
The second 2K PTZ lens supplies the tighter view and supports up to 8× hybrid zoom. Detail still depends on distance, light, angle, motion, focus and the actual scene.

Projectionist's noteBullet-to-PTZ hand-off is designed to preserve the fixed overview as the lower camera tracks. Tracking performance and captured detail vary with placement, starting angle, obstacles and conditions. The camera is clever; it has not read the director's notes for your driveway.

One driveway event, viewed without losing the wider story.
A parcel lands near the gate, a ute pauses in the wrong bay and the resident possum occupies Bay 3 without paying. The S4's appeal is not mystical certainty; it is the combination of fixed context and moving follow-up from one device.

Establishing shot
The fixed 4K lens can hold the broad driveway view. It cannot make the visitor park straight, but it may preserve the geometry of the attempt.
Follow-up shot
The lower PTZ view can respond to supported movement. Auto-framing can widen for multiple subjects; it cannot negotiate whose turn it was to bring the bins in.
Responsible ending
This camera records configured activity; it does not prevent it. Alerts and recorded views cannot guarantee identification, uninterrupted capture or a favourable review from Bay 3's possum.
The late-show lighting cue
Colour, infrared or a configured red and blue finale.
Four spotlights support colour night vision, while four 850nm infrared LEDs provide black-and-white illumination quoted to about 10 metres. Red and blue warning lights plus a published 105dB siren add configurable deterrence options.
Screen announcer: the possum would like the flashing sequence removed from its rider.
Projectionist's noteThe 105dB figure is eufy's measurement at 0.1m; perceived loudness falls with distance and conditions. Lights, siren, zones and schedules need thoughtful configuration for the property, neighbours and local rules. A midnight demonstration is not community consultation.

Matinee power schedule
It gathers daylight before the night screening.
The included detachable 5.5W SolarPlus 2.0 panel and 10,000mAh quick-swap battery support event-based use. eufy's typical-use claim of about one hour of suitable direct sunlight per day is conditional, not a lifetime membership card for the sun.
Day session · solar harvest
The separate panel, bracket and extension cable help you chase a better patch of direct sun instead of forcing the camera view to face wherever the roof looked optimistic.
Cloudy session · battery reserve
The quick-swap battery holds 10,000mAh. Activity, live viewing, temperature, shade, season, signal quality and settings all change the recharge balance.
All-day marathon · direct power
24/7 continuous recording requires direct 5V/3A-or-higher power and camera firmware V1.0.5.4 or later. Store it on a microSD card, or on a hard drive in HomeBase 3 running firmware V3.7.2.8 or later. Solar does not power continuous mode.
Projectionist's noteThe USB charging cable is included; the wall adapter is not. If solar input falls behind demand, recharge the battery. “But Queensland is sunny” remains a climate observation, not an electrical guarantee.
The projection booth stores clips locally. It still prefers a sensible retention plan to a cardboard box marked “footage probably”.

Local storage starts inside the camera.
Standalone mode includes 32GB built in, with optional microSD expansion up to 256GB. No subscription is required for that local path, and no HomeBase is compulsory for the core standalone setup.

Optional card: microSD up to 256GB. The card is sold separately and should not be imagined into the sealed box.
Optional hub: HomeBase S380 can add supported features such as facial recognition, cross-camera tracking and expanded storage. It is not included.
Wrong bases: HomeBase 2, HomeBase Mini and the eufy NVR are not supported. Those tickets belong to another auditorium.
Car park movement desk
Radar, PIR and local classification share the shift.
The PTZ side uses radar sensing quoted up to 40 feet under suitable conditions, while the fixed side uses PIR sensing quoted up to 30 feet. Standalone on-device classes include humans, vehicles and pets.
Human
Useful for visitors and deliveries. It cannot determine whether “just dropping by” means two minutes or the whole second feature.
Vehicle
Useful for driveway movement. A borrowed box trailer remains a vehicle even when reversed with the confidence of abstract theatre.
Pet
Useful for supported pet detection. Wildlife, angles, distance and conditions can still create ambiguity; Bay 3's possum rejects domestic classification.
Multiple subjects
Auto-framing can adjust for more than one subject. It does not decide which person said “you had the keys” first.
Projectionist's noteClassification is designed to improve alert relevance, not eliminate every false or missed event. Set zones, schedules and sensitivity to suit the view. The palm frond does not deserve a season pass.

Exit before the feature
Probably not your screening if any of these are non-negotiable.
A good listing should sell the right camera, not merely the camera nearest the popcorn machine. Choose another model or a different system if one of these requirements controls the job.
You require HomeBase 2 or Mini.
HomeBase S380 is the established optional route. eufy's current S1 list includes T8172 while the AU S4 FAQ says Professional S1 is unsupported, so verify current firmware before relying on S1. HomeBase 2 and Mini do not scan here.
You expect 24/7 recording from solar.
24/7 mode requires 5V/3A+ direct power, camera V1.0.5.4+, and microSD or a HomeBase 3 hard drive. Battery and solar mode centre on events.
You need Apple Home support.
Apple Home is not supported. Alexa and Google Assistant support remains subject to platform limits.
You need a card, hub or adapter in the box.
microSD, HomeBase S380 and the direct-power wall adapter are all sold separately.
You expect guaranteed prevention or identification.
The S4 can record supported views, send alerts and run configured deterrence. It cannot promise outcomes.

Ticket office terms
The practical ending before checkout.
Shipping, dispatch, warranty and change-of-mind terms should be easier to find than the car after a late session. Here they are in the lit booth, not buried under the credits.
Shipping
Australia Post Express is included for every order over $99.00. Below that threshold, tracked shipping is $9.95 or Express is $12.95. The possum has asked whether acorns count as legal tender; they do not.
Dispatch
Orders are prepared with a same-day best effort. Most leave on the day ordered or the next business day. A rush can stretch handling beyond that window, though this is unusual.
Warranty
CamGuard Australia supplies its own 12-month warranty. It is not presented as an eufy or Anker manufacturer warranty, and your Australian Consumer Law rights continue in addition.
Change of mind
Returns are accepted within 30 days when the item is complete and unused. The buyer pays return postage and original shipping is not refunded. If the item is faulty or not as described, CamGuard Australia covers return postage as required. A drilled bracket is not an unused matinee ticket.
Projectionist's noteCurrent checkout and shipping policies control the transaction. Confirm delivery details before placing the order; “the ute beside the old letterbox” is vivid local direction but not an Australia Post address.

Can the eufyCam S4 operate without a HomeBase?
Yes. The S4 can connect directly on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and use its 32GB built-in local storage, with optional microSD expansion up to 256GB. HomeBase S380 is optional and not included. HomeBase 2, HomeBase Mini and the eufy NVR are not supported alternatives for this camera.
Does the solar panel guarantee that I will never recharge the battery?
No. eufy's typical-use claim assumes about one hour of suitable direct sunlight per day, and the real balance changes with activity, live viewing, shade, season, heat, signal quality and settings. The detachable panel and extension cable help with positioning, but a shaded awning can still cancel the daytime matinee.
Can it record continuously, day and night?
24/7 continuous recording requires direct 5V/3A-or-higher power, camera firmware V1.0.5.4 or later, and a microSD card or hard drive in HomeBase 3. When using HomeBase 3, it must run firmware V3.7.2.8 or later. The adapter is not included. Battery and solar operation records motion-triggered events rather than continuous video.
Are all three lenses recording one giant combined resolution?
No. The fixed lens is 4K, while the lower PTZ assembly uses two 2K lens roles for tracking and closer detail. Their figures should not be added into a fictional combined resolution. Real detail also varies with distance, movement, focus, mounting angle, light and the scene being recorded.
What exactly arrives in this Brand New package?
The factory-sealed retail package includes the eufyCam S4, removable battery, 5.5W solar panel, camera and solar brackets, positioning stickers, screw packs, extension cable, USB charging cable and Quick Start Guide. HomeBase S380, microSD storage and the direct-power wall adapter are not included.
How quickly is the order dispatched, and what support applies?
The team aims for same-day dispatch; the ordinary window is same day through one business day. Heavy order periods can take longer, although extended handling is uncommon. CamGuard Australia supplies its own 12-month warranty, with Australian Consumer Law rights unaffected. Current checkout, delivery and returns policies remain controlling.
Which smart-home platforms can I use with the S4?
Alexa and Google Assistant are supported subject to the limits and behaviour of those platforms. Apple Home is not supported. Treat voice-assistant links as conveniences around the eufy app, not as a substitute for confirming the camera's own recording, notification, privacy and deterrence settings before opening night.
Does IP65 mean the camera can handle every kind of water?
No. IP65 describes weather resistance when the camera, seals, cables and mounting are installed correctly. It is not an immersion rating and does not invite pressure washing. Choose a sensible outdoor position, follow the supplied guidance and inspect the installation after severe weather rather than booking a poolside screening.
