Can this camera work by itself?
No. The eufyCam 2C is an add-on camera and requires a compatible eufy HomeBase, sold separately. It does not join ordinary household router Wi-Fi as a standalone camera and it has no onboard recording storage. Pairing, event storage and system functions all depend on the selected supported HomeBase.
Which HomeBase models are supported?
The current listing names original HomeBase, HomeBase E, HomeBase 2, HomeBase 3 and HomeBase Professional S1 routes, subject to exact model, region and current firmware. HomeBase Mini is not supported. Update the base first and confirm the current official matrix because support and features can change.
Does New No Box mean used?
No. This is new, unused kit-separated stock. The individual retail carton is absent, but the camera, bracket, Micro-USB charging cable, mounting screws and anchors, printed Quick Start Guide and secure protective packing are included. The unit is not sold as renewed, refurbished or previously activated stock.
Will it record continuously?
No. The 2C is a rechargeable battery camera designed for motion-triggered event recording. It does not provide 24/7 continuous capture. The selected HomeBase stores detected events, while recording frequency and battery life change with activity, sensitivity, spotlight use, live view, temperature and wireless conditions.
How long does the battery last?
eufy rates the 6,700mAh battery for up to 180 days under typical usage assumptions. That is not a fixed interval. A busy driveway, frequent live view, colder or hotter conditions, weak link quality and higher sensitivity can shorten it. Recharge by Micro-USB, with about five hours listed for a full charge.
Can I use it outdoors?
The camera is designed for indoor or outdoor mounting and the guide lists a -20°C to 50°C suitable temperature range for the camera and accessories. Secure the bracket to an appropriate surface, avoid strong direct sun, keep the charging seal correctly closed and test HomeBase signal strength before drilling.

Choose the eufyCam 2C when you already have a confirmed compatible HomeBase, want 1080p motion-event coverage and are completely at peace with Micro-USB.
