eufy publishes no battery-life figure for the C35; it depends on activity, temperature, Wi-Fi and settings. An external eufy solar panel is supported, sold separately.

Four ways up.

Pick the spot. The bracket in the parcel does the rest.

Magnetic. The bracket’s magnet holds on a suitable metal surface.
Screwed. Screw the base to a wall or post.
Strapped. Round a post or tree; strap not included.

One of two brackets. eufy’s guide says the bracket “may vary”: snap-fit or screw-in. Both are normal and mount all four ways.

On its own, the C35 labels people, vehicles and pets, inside two activity zones you draw in the app.

Add a HomeBase and it can recognise faces too. eufy’s note:

“Facial recognition requires HomeBase Mini.”

Each label is a helpful label, not a certainty: light, angle and distance change results.

PureColor is the default: colour when there’s a little light. Spotlight and infrared are the other two, picked in the app.

eufy sells the C35 in multi-camera kits with a HomeBase Mini. We buy those kits in bulk and split them, like three neighbours sharing a trailer-load of firewood: everyone pays less per armful.

A kit’s one carton can’t be split, so your camera travels in plain protective packaging with every accessory a single C35 comes with. The kit’s HomeBase Mini goes to its own listing.

We pass the saving on, keeping a small margin for costs and the 12-month warranty we honour ourselves. We don’t open or test each unit.

Why doesn’t it come in a box?

It came out of one of eufy’s multi-camera kits, and a kit’s one carton can’t be split. It’s new and never used.

Do I need a HomeBase?

No. It runs on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with a microSD card (not included). A HomeBase is optional, and none comes with it.

When will my order leave Townsville?

We do our best to get orders out the same day; same day to 1 business day is our typical dispatch time from Townsville, Queensland. During busy periods it can take a little longer, though that’s rare. Australia Post delivery time is on top.

The magnet is the renter move.

The supplied magnetic bracket can attach the C35 to a suitable metallic surface without drilling. That makes repositioning quick and gives renters a genuinely low-commitment option. The magnet still needs the right surface and a stable, sensible location; ordinary plasterboard is not a magnetic mounting surface.

Where magnetic mounting is not suitable, the supplied mounting base and screw pack provide the fixed option. The camera should stay upright, sit within useful 2.4GHz Wi-Fi range and be angled only toward areas you are entitled to monitor.

Magnetic option: fast to place on suitable metal and fast to take to the next address.
Screw option: mounting base and screw pack are included when a fixed installation is permitted.
Placement reality: useful coverage depends on height, angle, network strength, settings and lawful positioning.

PureColor Vision is designed to show full-colour low-light footage without requiring the camera's spotlight. Spotlight and infrared modes remain available, so the app can be set for the actual scene rather than whichever option looked most dramatic during setup.

Low-light results still depend on ambient light, placement and the scene. Test the view at night from the actual mounting position.

Your clips do not need a landlord.

Insert a compatible microSD card up to 256GB into the camera for standalone local motion-event recording. The card is sold separately. There is no required monthly camera fee for that local-storage route, although optional cloud or premium services may carry their own terms.

The camera can also connect to a HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3 if you want supported hub features. Facial recognition, shared storage management and cross-camera tracking require a compatible HomeBase. The hub is optional for this C35; check the features you want before choosing a route.

Standalone: connect the C35 directly to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and add a microSD card for local motion-event storage. A 5GHz-only network will not work. No HomeBase is required.

Optional hub: HomeBase Mini and HomeBase 3 are compatible routes for supported storage and AI features. Current app and firmware still matter during setup.

Not compatible: HomeBase 2. It is not a supported hub for this model.

The camera's standalone detection covers people, vehicles and pets. Facial recognition and cross-camera tracking require a compatible HomeBase. “Add-on camera” describes the product format; it does not mean this C35 is unusable without a hub.
