What you need
S330 / eufyCam 3 is an add-on camera and cannot operate directly on your router alone. Have a compatible HomeBase, its power supply, your home network and the eufy app ready. HomeBase 3 is the main setup described here. Check the compatibility section for other exact hub pairings and the supplied-items list for this condition.
Recording and storage
The camera sends event recordings to its paired HomeBase. HomeBase 3 has 16 GB built in and accepts a compatible internal 2.5-inch SATA drive up to 16 TB, bought separately. This battery camera does not provide continuous video recording. Optional cloud features are separate from the local archive.
Power and connection
With HomeBase 3 still powered, eufy says this camera can keep operating during an internet outage. It warns that restarting the router or hub can lose recordings made during that outage. Mains failure stops the hub unless separately backed up; a charged camera does not power it. App access also needs the network.

Every venue sells you distance. This camera argues with the premise: 4K across a 135 degree field, at f/1.4, with starlight colour night vision and a motion activated spotlight for when the light gives up entirely.
3840 x 2160, eight megapixels, at f/1.4. The aperture is the quiet part: it is what lets the sensor work when the sun has gone.
Starlight colour night vision and infrared, a motion activated spotlight, two way audio and a 100 dB siren. It records and it announces itself. It does not prevent anything, and we will not pretend otherwise.
What any camera resolves still depends on placement, distance, lighting and how fast something moves.
The solar panel is built into the camera, so there is one device to mount instead of two. eufy rates the 13,000mAh* battery at up to around a year per charge, with roughly two hours of useful daily sun supporting ordinary use. Your driveway, trees and winter all get a vote.
