Why make a delivery app about a door sensor?
Because this product’s whole job is “the door moved, tell the household.”
The E20 reports open and closed state changes through a compatible eufy HomeBase. It can trigger alerts and automations without filming anyone. Basically delivery tracking for an object that never leaves the address.
The journey has four extremely short stops.

Magnetic indoor contact sensor made from a sensor body and matching magnet half. Place them across a door or window gap.
The pre-installed CR123A battery is published as rated for up to five years. “Up to” is the useful legal-sized phrase: use, environment and behaviour affect real service life.

Can the E20 connect straight to my Wi-Fi router?
No. The Entry Sensor E20 communicates through a compatible eufy HomeBase. Supported options identified for this model include HomeBase Mini, post-2021 HomeBase 2, HomeBase 3 and HomeBase Professional S1. None is included in this listing. A router is not an alternative hub, even if the door is within excellent Wi-Fi range and the router looks eager to help.
Does this product take photos or record video?
No. The E20 is a magnetic contact sensor. Its two pieces report whether the monitored door or window changes between open and closed states. It contains no camera and makes no video recordings. Pairing it with a wider eufy system can support alerts or automations, but the sensor itself does not show who opened the entry or what happened nearby.
Is five years of battery life guaranteed?
No. The pre-installed CR123A is published as rated for up to five years. “Up to” describes a best-case ceiling, not a fixed replacement date. Actual service life can change with activity frequency, connection conditions, environmental factors and usage. The sensible setup is to monitor battery status in the system and replace it when needed, rather than scheduling a fifth-birthday party.
What exactly does Brand New cover here?
This E20 is factory sealed in original retail packaging and has not been classified as renewed, open box or new no box. CamGuard does not open the retail pack. The box-content statement comes from the verified product manifest rather than examining the specific unit. This is the normal new-product lane for a buyer who wants the intact retail presentation.
How far can it be from the HomeBase?
The published open-area range is up to 200 metres to the hub. That is not a promise for every house. Walls, construction materials, interference, hub position and the final mounting location can reduce practical range. Pair and test the sensor in the intended area before committing the adhesive. An open field is excellent for a specification and inconvenient for most front doors.
