Compatibility: Works on its own over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi - live view and alerts need no hub. The camera has no built-in storage: to keep footage, add a microSD card (up to 256 GB, sold separately) or pair it with a HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3. It is also on eufy’s HomeBase Professional S1 list. No HomeBase 2 route, and no 24/7 continuous recording on this model.

HomeBase 2
Closed shelf. The C35 is not compatible with HomeBase 2. A shared eufy name does not make that route work, so please check the model before ordering.

Can the C35 work without a HomeBase?
Yes. The C35 can connect directly to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and store motion events on a compatible microSD card up to 256GB. The card is not included. You can instead pair it with an optional HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3 for compatible hub features.
Will it pair with my HomeBase 2?
No. HomeBase 2 is specifically outside the C35 compatibility route. The supported optional bases in this listing are HomeBase Mini and HomeBase 3, with exact features still dependent on app, firmware and region. Please do not order on the strength of the shared eufy family name alone.
Does it record continuously all day?
No. This rechargeable camera is designed for motion-triggered event recording, not continuous 24/7 capture. Recording frequency and battery life vary with traffic, settings, temperature, Wi-Fi conditions and live viewing. If continuous recording is essential, choose a suitable wired camera and recorder path instead.
What storage do I need?
For direct Wi-Fi use, add a compatible microSD card up to 256GB. A microSD card is not supplied. If you pair the C35 with HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3, the compatible storage options and available features are controlled by that exact HomeBase model, its firmware and current eufy guidance.
Can I mount it outside?
The C35 carries an IP67 rating and is intended for suitable outdoor placement. The rating does not make every installation sensible: secure the base to an appropriate surface, keep the charging port sealed after charging, avoid positions that sit in water, and test the Wi-Fi signal before committing to holes.
Is a charging adapter included?
The box includes a 0.6m USB-C charging cable, but not a 5V/2A USB wall adapter. Use a suitable compliant adapter. The first full charge is listed at about four hours. Battery performance is an estimate and changes with alert volume, live view, temperature, network quality and settings.
