Human detection
Useful for people approaching the drive. It does not decide whether the neighbour’s wave was friendly or merely aerodynamically efficient.
Compatibility: Plug-in Wi-Fi camera that works on its own - records to a microSD card (sold separately). Optional pairing: HomeBase Mini, HomeBase 3 or HomeBase Professional S1.
Recording media: This product can use a microSD card. For security-camera recording, we recommend High Endurance media; we do not currently stock the recording-grade card we recommend.

CamGuard Australia
Motorised pan, tilt and vehicle tracking turn an ordinary driveway into race control for Queensland’s slowest qualifying lap.
The black eufy Wired Cam C31 supplies 1080p video, a 130° view, smart tracking, three night modes and continuous wired power. The family hatchback has requested another formation lap because the left wheel looked “a bit close” to absolutely nothing.
Race control: the camera operates directly with a compatible router, but recording requires a 32–256 GB microSD card or HomeBase Mini/3. Storage is not built in.
Useful for people approaching the drive. It does not decide whether the neighbour’s wave was friendly or merely aerodynamically efficient.
Flags supported vehicle events. The seven-point reverse park still counts as one car, despite producing a limited series.
Helps route the dog separately from other motion. The dog has entered parc fermé with a stolen thong.
Can follow recognised people, vehicles and pets through the motorised view. The rubbish truck remains the heavyweight class.
Continuous wired power supports round-the-clock recording when local storage is installed. Fresh air has failed scrutineering as a memory device.
C31 needs continuous USB-C power. The retail carton includes a 5V/1A adapter and 2 m USB-C cable, but the mounting plan still needs a safe powered location. A solar panel cannot be waved through because it arrived wearing a hi-vis vest.
The camera has no built-in recording capacity. Fit a 32–256 GB microSD card for standalone local recording or use a compatible HomeBase Mini/3 arrangement. Without supported storage, race control gets live view but no lap archive.
The camera connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Check signal strength where it will actually be installed, not beside the router while holding it like a trophy. Brick, distance and interference are all permitted to be boring and influential.
The lens provides a 130° field of view. Motorised 360° pan and app-controlled tilt let you move the view around a room, yard, carport or entryway, while automatic tracking can follow supported subjects through the available path.
Mount it upright or inverted using the supplied bracket, then use the app to test every direction before final tightening. Physical walls, fences, parked vehicles and the garage corner still block vision. They have excellent legal representation and no interest in becoming transparent.
Sector note: pan-and-tilt coverage reduces the limits of a fixed view; it is not a claim of vision through objects or a guarantee that every event remains in frame.
Black unit · PureColor session · Rain drama optional
The default low-light mode uses the F1.2 aperture and sensor to produce colour footage without depending on a spotlight or infrared. Available light still sets the result; race control does not own the moon.
Use the camera light and supported alarm settings when appropriate for the location. Consider windows, neighbours and reflective surfaces. The wet driveway already has enough visual ambition.
IR night vision remains an alternative when colour is not required. Test the actual mounted view because eaves, rain, insects and nearby surfaces can affect what the lens sees after dark.
Human detection can notify and auto-track supported movement. It may help separate a person from general motion, but classification depends on the real scene. A hi-vis shirt is not a diplomatic passport.
Vehicle detection suits driveway coverage, with tracking available as the subject moves through view. The camera records the manoeuvre; it does not award points for leaving exactly six centimetres from the fence.
Pet events can be detected and tracked. The dog may appear on telemetry carrying a garden glove. That is a product feature plus a household problem, not an accusation of organised pit-lane theft.
Sound and cry detection add non-visual event types. Tune them for the location and review the real results. A curlew outside the garage can still post a lap time entirely in decibels.
Use live view and two-way audio through the eufy Security app when network conditions permit. Audio use must comply with privacy, workplace, tenancy, strata and local requirements. The fictional stewards cannot approve your recording policy.
Condition: brand new and factory sealed in full original retail packaging. There is no racing suit, timing transponder or emergency set of smaller wheelie bins under the insert.
The sealed camera can run without a HomeBase, but recording cannot run without supported storage. The pit crew has opened no box and made no claim about an individual-unit test.
Update the eufy Security app, sign in, power the C31 and scan its QR code. Select direct-router mode or pair a compatible HomeBase first. The app handles the formation lap; the camping chair remains decorative.
For standalone recording, power down before inserting a supported microSD card, then format it in the app. If using HomeBase Mini/3, follow the base storage instructions. Hot-swapping cards receives an immediate mechanical-sympathy penalty.
Confirm signal, view and safe power access. Fit the bracket, attach the camera and secure the USB-C cable as instructed. Leave room for pan and tilt. The cable should not become a new gate across pit lane.
Move the camera through its full range, walk the real detection path, review night modes and confirm recordings. Tune notifications from actual evidence. The wheelie bin chicane may now return to ordinary bin-night duties.
Yes. The item is the black eufy Wired Cam C31 Add-On Camera, part number T817L111 and barcode 194644253752. It is brand new, factory sealed and supplied in full original retail packaging. It is not open box, manufacturer renewed or used. Genuine imagery identifies the black variant, while the written carton manifest is the controlling statement of what comes with the order.
Yes. It can connect directly to a suitable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi router and operate in the eufy Security app. Add a supported microSD card to the camera for standalone local recording. HomeBase Mini T8025 and HomeBase 3 T8030 are compatible optional alternatives for their supported storage and ecosystem functions. HomeBase 2 T8010 is not compatible with the Wired Cam C31.
Continuous recording requires the camera to remain on wired power and have supported local storage. In router mode, install and format a 32–256 GB microSD card in the C31. A compatible HomeBase arrangement is another option. The camera itself contains no built-in recording capacity, and the retail package does not include a microSD card or HomeBase. Local recording has no mandatory cloud subscription.
Yes. The current official C31 user manual lists a 5V/1A USB adapter and 2 m USB-C cable in the camera installation contents, and this listing includes both in the sealed retail carton manifest. C31 has no operating battery and no supported solar input, so continuous power is part of the installation plan. Use a protected, appropriate electrical arrangement for the intended indoor or outdoor location.
IP66 dust and water resistance supports indoor or outdoor use, including upright or inverted bracket installation, when fitted according to the instructions. It does not make every cable route, plug or power point suitable for weather exposure. Test Wi-Fi, drainage, clearance, night reflections and the complete motorised path before final tightening. Placement and use must also respect privacy, tenancy, strata, workplace and local obligations.

Your purchase has CamGuard Australia’s own 12-month warranty, not a manufacturer warranty. It sits alongside, and does not remove or reduce, any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
If something is wrong, send the order information and a clear account of the fault so the correct remedy path can be assessed.
A change-of-mind return can be requested within 30 days after delivery. The product must remain complete and unused. Return postage is paid by the buyer, and the original shipping charge is not refundable.
Where goods are faulty or materially different from their description, CamGuard Australia pays reasonable return postage and applies the Australian Consumer Law.
Records, does not prevent: the C31 can record, detect and display activity in its configured view. It cannot prevent an incident or promise a particular security result.
Real performance varies with positioning, light, settings, obstructions, subject movement, Wi-Fi and internet conditions, power, storage, firmware, app availability and third-party integrations. Detection and tracking labels describe supported functions rather than certainty for every event.
The owner and installer must use video and audio lawfully and comply with relevant privacy, workplace, tenancy, strata, neighbour, electrical and installation duties.
