What does Manufacturer Renewed actually mean?
The camera was used before, then went through the manufacturer's renewal process, where it was professionally refurbished and tested. It isn't factory-new, so expect light to moderate scratches, and appearance varies from unit to unit. It comes in the original Solo S3 box with every standard accessory, and it's covered by our own 12-month warranty, not a manufacturer warranty.
How scratched are we talking?
Light to moderate: the kind of marks you'd expect on a camera that has been installed before. They're cosmetic and appearance varies between units. We sell these as one mixed cosmetic condition, so there's no picking an individual grade. If you'd rather have a spotless camera, we stock the S340 Brand New too.
My box says Solo S3. Is that right?
Yes. eufyCam Solo S3 and SoloCam S340 are two retail names for the same T8170 dual-lens pan-and-tilt camera. It's a different product from the eufyCam S3 Pro, which is a HomeBase kit camera.
Do I need a HomeBase?
No. It connects straight to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and records to its built-in 8 GB. A HomeBase 3 (S380) is optional; eufy's product page confirms it with HomeBase firmware V3.3.2.6 or later. eufy's pages disagree about HomeBase 2 and mini, so ask us before pairing either.
What warranty do I get?
Our own 12-month warranty, which we honour ourselves: not a manufacturer warranty. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply on top, and if the camera is faulty or not as described we cover the return postage.
How quickly will it leave Townsville?
We do our best to get orders out the same day. Same day to 1 business day is our typical dispatch time from Townsville, Queensland. During busy periods it can take a little longer, though that's rare. Australia Post delivery time is on top of dispatch.
