This camera was used, and it wears it openly. Read this bit twice.
It is Manufacturer Renewed — Fair (Grade C). The unit was previously owned, returned, and then refurbished, tested and graded by the manufacturer's own renewal programme. Fair is the honest bottom of that ladder: the scuffs and scratches on the housing are obvious. It is fully functional, and it is priced accordingly.

A 0.9W solar panel is built into the top of the camera, feeding a 6,500mAh battery. eufy quotes up to three months of standalone run time, and says roughly three hours of daily sunlight is enough to keep it topped up. Put it somewhere the sun actually lands and charging stops being your job.

It is a used battery in a renewed unit. eufy's figure of up to three months standalone is for a new one. Real-world run time depends on motion volume, temperature, and how much sun the panel actually gets.

eufy lists cloud and NAS as unsupported for the S220. Storage is the built-in 8 GB, or a HomeBase 3 if you already have one.

The unit was previously used, returned, and then refurbished, tested and graded through the manufacturer's own renewal programme. It is not new and we do not describe it as new. The grade on this listing is the grade they assigned.

How marked is a “Fair” one, really?
Obvious. Scuffing and scratching on the housing that you will notice straight away and from a normal distance — not hidden, not subtle, not something we are going to talk around. Nothing cracked or missing, and nothing that stops it recording, detecting or charging. If a marked shell would bother you at all, buy the Good or Excellent grade instead; this listing exists for people who want the lowest price and genuinely do not care what it looks like.

What is the difference between this and the Excellent and Good listings?
Same camera, same specs, same 12-month CamGuard warranty on all three — the difference is cosmetic grade and price. Excellent is near-new with light handling marks possible. Good has visible scuffs and light scratches and works perfectly. Fair (this one) is clearly marked, fully functional, and the cheapest way in.

This is a renewed camera with a used battery, so treat it as the ceiling rather than a promise — cold, heavy motion traffic and a shady wall all shorten it.
