Fifty fingerprints. That's the whole household, both sets of grandparents, the house-sitter and the person who walks the dog, with room left over. The self-learning algorithm keeps refining its read of each print the more you use it, so the thumb you enrolled in April still works in November.
Which matters most when your hands are full: two shopping bags, a phone under the chin, rain coming in sideways. One touch, and the door is open.

The video doorbell is built into the lock, so there's no second gadget to mount, wire or explain to visitors. Press the bell, and the 2K camera shows you who's there — the f/1.6 aperture lens is what keeps that picture usable when the only light is a porch globe and a passing set of headlights.
Clips are kept on the lock itself: 8GB of built-in eMMC storage, no monthly plan needed to reach them. If you want more room, a HomeBase 3 is an optional add-on that expands local storage up to 16TB — optional being the operative word, since the E330 runs on your Wi-Fi perfectly happily on its own.
One thing to know up front, because we'd rather you heard it from us: there's no chime in the box. Alerts come to your phone. If you want a proper ding inside the house, you'll need a HomeBase, an Alexa or Google Assistant speaker, or a separate chime. It's in the contract below.

The 10,000mAh battery is the other half of the arrangement: eufy states up to around three months per charge, and recommends a 5V/2A adapter for recharging. It's not a set-and-forget-forever device — put a recurring reminder in your phone, the way you would for smoke alarm batteries, and you'll never be caught out.

Clause 1
He does not arrive with a bell to ring.
There is no chime included with the E330. Doorbell presses and alerts come through to your phone in the eufy Security app. To actually hear someone at the door from inside the house, you'll need a eufy HomeBase, an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant speaker, or a separate chime — none of which are in this box. This is the single most common surprise with this model, so we've put it first.
Clause 2
He only accepts postings on doors he actually fits — so measure yours first.
He suits standard single-cylinder deadbolt doors of roughly 35–45 mm thickness. Mortise locks are not compatible. The crossbore should measure 38 mm or 54 mm across and the backset 60 mm or 70 mm. Please measure your door and confirm what type of lock is in it before you order — a lock that doesn't fit the door is the single most common reason anything comes back to us, and it's entirely avoidable with a tape measure and two minutes.
Clause 3
He takes a break to recharge, periodically.
The battery is 10,000mAh and rechargeable, and eufy states up to around three months per charge. Real-world figures move with how often the door is used, how much the camera is triggered and how cold it is. A 5V/2A adapter is the recommended way to charge it. If the idea of ever recharging anything offends you, this is not your device.
Clause 4
His filing cabinet is 8GB, unless you give him a bigger one.
Storage is 8GB of built-in eMMC on the lock itself, which records on a rolling basis. A HomeBase 3 is optional and expands local storage up to 16TB — but it is genuinely optional. The E330 works on your Wi-Fi standalone without any hub at all.

A doorman is measured for his post before he's hired, and this is the step people skip. A lock that doesn't fit the door is the most common cause of a return — so grab a tape measure and run the checklist now, not after the parcel arrives.

Give the 10,000mAh battery a full first charge with a 5V/2A adapter while he's still indoors.
3Fit the lock
Follow eufy's own fitting instructions in the box. If deadbolts aren't your thing, this is the locksmith step.
4Enrol the household
Add the lock in the eufy Security app, then enrol fingerprints and passcodes. Link Alexa or Google if you want voice.
