Yes. It’s factory sealed in eufy’s full retail carton, unopened and unused, with the standard accessories inside.
Do I need a HomeBase or a subscription?
No to both. It records to your own microSD card, up to 128 GB and sold separately, with no monthly fee for local recording. HomeBase 2, 3, Mini and Professional S1 are all optional.
It won’t join my Wi-Fi or HomeBase 2. What now?
Set your modem’s 2.4 GHz channel to 1, 6 or 11: on Auto it can pick 12 or 13, which the camera won’t join. If your modem shows one Wi-Fi name for both bands (Telstra Smart Modems do), split them. For a HomeBase 2, plug it into the modem by cable first. Still stuck? Message us.
Can it record 24/7?
Not on battery and sun: then it records events. eufy says continuous recording needs a direct power connection, plus a microSD card on Wi-Fi or a hard drive when paired with a HomeBase.
Can the panel go somewhere sunnier?
Yes. It sits on the camera or on its own bracket, joined by the 3 m cable in the box, so the camera can face the view and the panel can face the sun.

AFTER DARK, IT GOES MONOCHROME.
There is no secret colour-night mode hiding in a menu. SoloCam E30 uses infrared black-and-white night vision and has no built-in spotlight.
You want discreet infrared observation without a bright light switching on.
Colour footage after dark or an integrated deterrent spotlight is essential.
The camera can turn through 360° but does not record every direction simultaneously.
Two-way audio is available through the eufy Security app.
