Close by, the card talks to your iPhone or iPad over Bluetooth, up to 80 m away.

Out of range, Apple’s Find My network uses nearby Apple devices to locate it, and Find My shows where it was reported.
03Sound

Getting close? Play its 80 dB alarm from Find My. Left-behind alerts are set up there too, and a press of the card’s button rings a nearby iPhone, even on silent.

Worth knowing: it has no GPS and no UWB, so there’s no live trail or pointing arrow. Location depends on Apple devices passing nearby.

Will it work with my Android phone?

No. eufy lists the SmartTrack Card E30 for iOS only. It uses Apple Find My on an iPhone or iPad, not Google’s finding network.

Is it a GPS tracker?

No. It has no GPS. Nearby it uses Bluetooth; further away, Apple’s Find My network uses nearby Apple devices to report where it is, so updates depend on who passes by.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. eufy says it needs no monthly subscription for core tracking. You need a compatible iPhone or iPad with Find My.

Does it need a eufy HomeBase?

No. No HomeBase or home Wi-Fi is involved; it pairs straight to Find My.

When the wallet is missing, check its reported location in Apple Find My. Once nearby, play a sound if the card can connect.

It is a Bluetooth item tracker, not an independent GPS transmitter. It uses Apple’s Find My network; there is no separate mobile-data plan for the card.

Use Find My to check the reported location, then look at how recent that report is. A tracker left where few participating Apple devices pass may not receive the updates you would see in a busier area.

The E30 has no independent GPS or cellular connection, and no UWB Precision Finding arrows. The map reports a place and time; it does not provide turn-by-turn directions.

When the final scene
is under the couch.

Once the card is nearby and can connect, play its sound to narrow the search. eufy rates the speaker at 80 dB. Actual audibility changes with distance and whatever is wrapped around, covering or enclosing the wallet.

A closed bag or couch cushion can muffle the sound, so test it inside the wallet you use.

A nudge before
the search gets a sequel.

Configure left-behind notifications in Find My so a compatible Apple device can alert you when you separate from the card. Check the app’s settings and any locations where you have chosen not to receive those notifications.

A left-behind alert is a prompt to check, not a guarantee that nothing will be lost.

This card comes back to the charging jetty.

This is the rechargeable E30, not the earlier non-rechargeable SmartTrack Card. Connect its magnetic charging adapter, then supply power through the USB-C cable. There is no user-replaceable coin cell.

Charge the E30. Connect the magnetic adapter and USB-C cable to suitable power. Follow the included guide and check the charging indicator. Charge before pairing.
Add it to Apple Find My. Use a compatible Apple device and Apple ID, then follow the pairing instructions. Give the item a name you will recognise quickly.
Choose alert settings. Configure left-behind notifications and any exceptions in Find My. Check them with the way you actually travel, rather than assuming every alert is enabled by default.
Test it nearby, then tuck it away. Play the sound and learn how it sounds inside your wallet or bag. Choose a slot that fits the 2.6 mm card, and keep the charging adapter.

No. This E30 uses Apple Find My with a compatible Apple device and Apple ID. It does not support Google’s finding network.

Can it track the wallet continuously?

What happens when I get near the reported location?

Play its rated 80 dB sound when the card is nearby and connected. A bag can muffle it, and this model has no UWB direction arrows.
