The honest details
Before you buy.
- There is no fingerprint sensor. The C210's five ways to unlock are app, keypad, physical key, Apple Watch and voice. Other eufy locks such as the S230 add a fingerprint scanner; this model does not.
- The weather rating is IPX3, not IP65 or IP67. That is splash resistance for a sheltered entry, not a rating for full driving rain or a pressure wash.
- Apple Watch access is not Apple HomeKit. eufy advertises Apple Watch as an entry method while stating separately that HomeKit, Matter and IFTTT are not supported.
- eufy's own numbers do not always agree. The key count is given as 2 on one eufy page and 5 on another, so we do not promise a number. Battery life is quoted as about four months at ten unlocks a day.

Wi-Fi is built into this lock; its current model guidance excludes HomeBase and separate Wi-Fi bridges.
Works with
- Standalone on home Wi-Fi. The C210 connects directly to your home network and to the eufy Security app. No separate hub box near the router.
- Alexa and Google Assistant. Both are on eufy's published list for voice unlock, once the integrations and security settings are configured.
- Apple Watch. eufy advertises this as one of the five entry methods. It is a separate feature from Apple HomeKit.
Does not work with
- Apple HomeKit, Matter and IFTTT. None of these are supported on the C210 in any condition grade.
- eufy HomeBase or any Wi-Fi bridge. eufy's own C210 material states directly that it does not work with HomeBase or a bridge. This is not an oversight; the lock has its own built-in Wi-Fi instead.
- Rounded latch holes. eufy states directly that the C210 does not fit a rounded latch hole.
Check before buying
- Exact key and battery accessory count. eufy's own pages disagree on the number of physical keys included (2 on one page, 5 on another) and give a battery-life range rather than one figure. Message us before ordering if an exact accessory count matters to you.
- Wi-Fi coverage at the actual door. The C210 requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Check signal where it will be installed; remote functions also need internet and the eufy app.

What you need
Before you bring it home
You need a correctly prepared deadbolt door, batteries, the eufy app and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at the doorway for connected control. No HomeBase or Wi-Fi bridge is supported. Check the bore, backset and door thickness before choosing it; Apple Watch support does not mean Apple HomeKit support.
- Measure the real door first. Compare the door thickness, backset, cross bore and latch shape against eufy's current C210 compatibility diagram before you unbox anything.
- Fit the supplied deadbolt and hardware. Follow eufy's instructions. Stop if the door preparation does not match; a rounded latch hole is not compatible.
- Power up and pair. Install the operating batteries, add the C210 in the eufy Security app, and connect it to your home Wi-Fi at the door.
- Test every method before you close the door. Check the keypad, app, physical key and voice control while you can still open the door the old-fashioned way.

Questions people ask.
Is an Excellent-grade unit worse at its job than a new one?
No. The grade describes the housing, not the electronics. A renewed unit runs the same published spec sheet. The difference is cosmetic marks and the plain packaging it ships in.
Does the C210 need a HomeBase or a bridge?
No. Wi-Fi is built into the lock. eufy's own C210 information states it does not work with HomeBase or a Wi-Fi bridge. Remote functions still need the eufy Security app plus Wi-Fi and internet at the door.
Does it have a fingerprint sensor?
No. The C210's five ways to unlock are app, keypad, physical key, Apple Watch and voice. Other eufy locks in the range add a fingerprint scanner; this one does not.
Will it fit my door?
Only if the actual preparation matches eufy's current compatibility figures: door thickness 35 to 55mm, backset 60mm or 70mm, and a non-rounded latch hole. Measure before you buy.
What happens if the batteries go flat?
Use the physical key, or connect a portable charger to the charging port on the underside of the exterior unit to power the lock temporarily, as eufy describes.
When will it ship, and what does delivery cost?

eufy’s current C210 product information states support for up to 100 different passcodes.
Remove guest or service access when it is no longer needed, and keep administrative access controlled.

eufy promotes the C210 for most standard pre-bored deadbolts. “Most” and “standard” are not permission to skip the measurements.
