Note: eufy also sold a wired S330 doorbell (T8203) with different compatibility - this is the battery model.

This S330 is an add-on battery doorbell and needs a compatible HomeBase, sold separately. The current compatibility table lists HomeBase 2, 3 and Mini; Professional S1 has a separate device list. Optional suitable low-voltage wiring can extend battery life. Confirm the transformer and existing chime before connecting them.
Recording and storage
The hub holds the events
The doorbell sends motion-event recordings to its compatible HomeBase. It does not supply its own recording storage or a HomeBase in this offer. Storage capacity depends on the chosen hub. Battery operation and optional wiring do not turn the S330 into a continuous-recording camera.

The front camera catches the visitor. The downward camera catches the landing zone. Together they preserve the exact moment a courier looks at a fern, decides it has legal capacity, and gives it temporary custody of your headphones.
That is the actual sales point beneath the sitcom: most doorbells frame a face or a doorstep well, but not both. The S330 deliberately uses two cameras so the parcel does not vanish below the main view.
The upper camera records in 2K HDR. The porch camera records 1080p and looks down at the package area. Mounting angle still decides whether your real drop zone is visible.

The two live views appear together in the eufy app. You can see who approached and whether the parcel stayed, left, or was moved by somebody wearing the unmistakable camouflage of a grey hoodie in Queensland summer.
The lower camera also has a motion-activated LED to illuminate the package area in low light. It is not a floodlight; it is enough to stop the bottom half of the clip becoming a black rectangle with shipping anxiety.
Main camera: 2560 × 1920. Porch camera: 1600 × 1200. Those are separate streams, not one invented combined resolution.

The parcel gets arrival alerts, pickup reminders and more supervision than Darren.
Package detection and Delivery Guard can notify you about a delivery and remind you when a parcel remains outside. The camera records the event; it cannot make the courier use the dry corner, close the gate, or resist photographing their own steering wheel as proof.
For a customer, that means fewer “where exactly is it?” laps around the house and a better chance of seeing whether the box arrived, waited and then left with somebody else.
Package and waiting detection depend on view, placement, lighting and behaviour. Detection helps; it is not an insurance policy or a guarantee against theft.

eufy says combining radar movement sensing with PIR heat sensing can reduce false alarms by up to 95% in its test scenario. Real gardens, heat and installation vary, so this is an “up to” claim rather than a binding treaty with the bougainvillea.

Night episode · porch light budget
Infrared sees the visitor. The lower LED checks the suspicious rectangle.
Infrared-enhanced night vision supports the main view, while the motion-activated porch light helps the package camera see the doorstep. The result is useful evidence after dark without leaving a giant floodlight on all night to announce your power bill to the street.
At 1:08am the “intruder” is revealed as Baz, barefoot, moving the wrong wheelie bin with the confidence of a man who has never once checked the house number.
Night results vary with placement, reflective walls and ambient light. The lower LED is for package-area visibility, not stadium illumination.

No HomeBase, no episode. A router alone is just Baz with ambition.
This add-on doorbell pairs with HomeBase 2/S280, HomeBase 3/S380 or HomeBase Professional S1. The compatible base stores recordings locally and can sound as an indoor chime. HomeBase Mini/T8025 pairs too (eufy added it in August 2026); update its firmware first. No hub is included with this listing.
HomeBase 3 can add expanded storage and extra recognition features. HomeBase 2 remains a valid partner for the core doorbell. Keep firmware and the eufy Security app current when pairing.
Hard stop: this add-on requires HomeBase 2/S280, HomeBase 3/S380 or HomeBase Professional S1. The current compatibility guide also lists HomeBase Mini/T8025. A router alone is insufficient. The compatibility warning is here before checkout because disappointment is not a fun season arc.

Battery and wiring subplot

eufy rates the rechargeable battery at roughly three to six months depending on activity, viewing and conditions. Compatible existing doorbell wiring can provide charging and may control a compatible existing chime when installed correctly. The HomeBase speaker can also act as a chime.
This is not continuous-recording hardware. Connecting it to HomeBase 3 or existing wires does not unlock 24/7 video. It records motion events, which is the battery-life trade-off.
Chime and transformer compatibility must be checked before wiring. If you are not confident with electrical work, use a qualified installer rather than Baz and his “voltage screwdriver from Temu”.
Can suitable wiring support my existing chime?
Potentially. Compatible existing wiring can charge the battery and may control a compatible chime. Check the transformer, chime and installation requirements before relying on it; the HomeBase speaker can also provide the indoor chime.

Recordings save locally to the required HomeBase. Core storage and features do not require a monthly subscription. Optional cloud services may exist, but the doorbell does not hold basic parcel evidence hostage behind a recurring payment.
That matters because subscriptions have become the neighbour who borrows your mower, joins the group chat and somehow still bills you every month. Local storage keeps the core arrangement refreshingly direct.
Storage capacity depends on which HomeBase you own and its configuration. Video remains event-based. Local storage does not remove the need for sensible account security and firmware updates.

Two-way audio special
Tell the courier “left side, under cover” before the fern gets promoted again.
Two-way audio lets you answer visitors and give delivery directions through the app. It is useful when you are away, upstairs, on a work call, or hiding because the person at the door is holding a clipboard and saying “quick energy comparison”.
Audio quality and response depend on the network. This is a doorbell conversation, not a studio podcast. Speak clearly, keep instructions short, and accept that “behind the blue pot” may still become a philosophical exercise.
Alexa and Google Assistant integrations are supported. Apple HomeKit is not supported for this model.
