The room goes round the bend.
360° horizontal pan and controllable tilt let the E30 look around the room from its chosen position.
A useful view starts with a useful position. Put the camera where furniture does not block it, then adjust the direction in the app. The bookcase is excellent at being a bookcase and less helpful when parked across the lens.
Pattern-maker's note360° describes the horizontal movement range. It is not a promise to see every direction simultaneously, through walls or behind furniture.
The chair has asked for a flattering angle. The pan control has declined to become a portrait studio.

Follow the action. Even the small action.
The E30 supports automatic tracking of people and pets, plus on-device detection for people, pets, crying and other sounds.
The lounge
The pet makes another important journey from one end of the rug to the other. Tracking can follow a detected pet. It cannot explain the itinerary.
The rug has declined to comment.
The hallway
A person crosses the room. Human detection can help identify the event, with notifications managed in the app. The abandoned cardigan does not get promoted to housemate.
A coat hook remains an unpaid position.
The home office
Check the room remotely and choose alerts that suit your day. Sound detection recognises supported sound events, not the emotional meaning of the printer.
“Paper jam” is still an office problem.

Night has two palettes.
Spotlight-assisted colour
The built-in spotlight supports colour night vision when enabled. It adds light to the scene, so consider whether people or pets in that room will appreciate the extra illumination.
The lampshade has requested advance notice of its new colleague.
Infrared night vision
Infrared provides a night-viewing alternative without relying on the visible spotlight for colour. Choose the night mode that suits the room, rather than expecting one setting to suit every household.
The dark blue paper is a mood. The actual picture depends on the selected night mode.

The E30 includes a privacy mode. Use the camera's app controls when you want privacy, and make sure everyone sharing the room understands how the camera is being used.

This fold reveals the explanation only. It does not control your camera. Set privacy mode on the actual E30 through its supported app controls, and check its state before relying on it.
The curtain was prepared to make a speech about privacy. We suggested the app setting would be more useful.

A little hello can travel.
Two-way audio lets you listen and speak through the camera using the app.
“Hello, lounge. Has anyone seen the other slipper?”
The camera can carry your voice. It cannot make the household answer sensibly.

Compatibility. Cut to the right shape.
2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
The camera needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. A 5 GHz-only network is not the right piece. Please do not force it with the good craft scissors.
Continuous USB-C power
This is a powered indoor camera, not a battery camera. Place it within a sensible cable run of an outlet. The desk plant is still not a power source.
HomeBase is optional
Use the E30 with Wi-Fi and the eufy app without buying a HomeBase. HomeBase 3 is a supported optional storage route, sold separately. You do not need to build a second paper house for it.
HomeKit
Supported, with video capped at 1080p. A different platform means a different cut of the feature set.

A memory drawer. Supply the memory.
Choose suitable storage for recordings. The camera supports a microSD card up to 128GB, or an optional compatible HomeBase 3. Neither is included in this offer.
Open the local-storage drawer
For the camera's microSD route, choose a Class 10 or higher card within the supported 128GB maximum. A high-endurance card is a sensible choice for repeated recording. Format and set up the card in the app.
The paper drawer is spacious. Unfortunately, paper has a very poor bitrate.
Read the recording choices
The E30 supports event recording and 24/7 recording with the appropriate power, storage and configuration. Recording duration varies with resolution, settings and available capacity. There is no single number of days that fits every household.
The calendar offered to guarantee a month. The storage settings asked it to sit down.
Pattern-maker's noteLocal recording does not require a monthly storage subscription. Optional cloud services and some third-party platform services may carry fees. Do not read “local storage” as a claim that every part of the connected service is offline.

Choose a room
Keep the E30 indoors, with a clear view and access to power. A shelf is useful. A cupboard with the door shut is an ambitious limitation.
Connect and add
Power the camera, then follow the eufy app prompts to add it to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The paper house's Wi-Fi is strictly decorative.
Choose storage
Install and configure a suitable separate microSD card, or connect a supported HomeBase 3. Empty space on a craft table does not store video.
Set your view
Adjust pan, tilt, detection, alerts and privacy settings. Make a test recording and check playback. The dog does not need a formal audition.
Underside model view: mounting interface and SYNC control. Follow the actual installation guide; the drawing is not a drilling template.
A mount is a commitment to a location.
Test the view, connectivity and cable route before fitting the mounting bracket. Use appropriate fixings for the surface and follow the supplied guide.

Manufacturer Renewed Fair, Grade C. Professionally refurbished and tested through the manufacturer's renewed programme. Expect visible cosmetic wear, including scuffs and marks. Fully functional, with the normal accessories, supplied in protective non-retail packaging. Grade C describes the cosmetic condition, while the manufacturer renewal programme covers refurbishment and testing. The stock photographs illustrate the model rather than this particular unit. Choose the stated grade deliberately; a cheerful illustration is not a condition photograph.
Do I need HomeBase 3 to use the E30?
No. The E30 can operate with its continuous power supply, a suitable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and the eufy app. Choose a supported microSD card for the camera's local storage route. HomeBase 3 is an optional compatible route, sold separately. Neither a card nor a hub is supplied in this camera offer, and recording needs appropriate storage and setup.
Will I get 4K video through Apple HomeKit?
No. The camera supports 4K through the eufy app, while HomeKit video is limited to 1080p. Integration does not remove that cap, and supported functions can differ between platforms. Check the current Apple requirements for your intended HomeKit features. It is worth making that choice before the paper scissors become emotionally attached to the number four.
Can it record continuously without a monthly plan?
The E30 supports 24/7 recording and event recording with suitable local storage, power and settings. Local recording does not require a monthly storage subscription. A microSD card or compatible hub is a separate purchase, and optional cloud or third-party services can carry fees. Retention depends on capacity, quality and use, rather than the number of drawers in our illustration.
Can it sit outside or run on a battery?
No. This is an indoor camera that requires continuous USB-C power. Place it where it has a useful view, reliable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and a safe cable route. Do not treat a covered outdoor location as an approved indoor installation. The paper roof looks friendly, but neither the roof nor the camera is applying to work in the rain.
When will my order be dispatched?
We do our best to dispatch on the same day. Same-day to one business day is typical; busy periods can occasionally extend that, although it is rare. Dispatch is separate from Australia Post's delivery time. The shipping terms below explain the available services and order threshold. Our illustrated folding strip is not a carrier tracking screen or a guaranteed delivery timetable.
Where is the bit the dog was sitting on?
Under the dog, predictably. In the actual camera, useful human and pet tracking depends on a suitable view and configuration. The cut-paper dog simply keeps the story warm; it is not a demonstration of a recorded detection, an included accessory or proof that your particular pet will cooperate. Check the camera's real live view and a test recording during setup.
