Infrared captures vein patterns under the skin. Data is stored on the device, and eufy documents up to 50 palm profiles.

Palm & Order.
The FamiLock S3 Max as a nightclub door run by the world’s most competent public servant: show one real palm, meet the door requirements, and get waved through without searching every pocket you own.
CamGuard Australia
Factory sealed. Your door still needs to qualify.
This FamiLock S3 Max is Brand New, factory sealed in its full original retail packaging. We do not open sealed units and do not claim we tested your individual lock. Before the seal comes off, measure the door and check the screen-door boundary below.
The queue moves when the palm is real and the door fits.
Palm recognition gets the guest-list treatment.
The nightclub is a joke; the purchasing gates are not. The outside unit combines palm-vein recognition, a 2K doorbell camera and several entry methods. Before anyone reaches the scanner, the actual door must pass the thickness, bore, backset and screen-door checks.
TAP THE PALM SCANNER · FIRST GUEST
One front door. Several departments.
A 150° view, night vision and doorbell live in the outside assembly.
See the visitor from inside without opening the door or finding a phone first.
The lock works without a required hub. HomeBase 3 is optional and not included.
A 15,000mAh rechargeable battery does the full-feature work; four AAA cells provide limited backup operation.
Palm, PIN, app, voice control and physical keys are documented. There is no fingerprint reader on this model.
Four ways in. One very ordinary physical key still invited.

LEGACY VIP
Palm recognition is the star, but the practical appeal is choice. Household members do not all have to enter the same way, and the physical key remains a real fallback rather than decorative nostalgia. The app and voice options sit beside PIN and palm access; none of them changes the need for a compatible bored-deadbolt door.
There is no fingerprint reader on this model. That distinction is easy to miss when smart-lock families share screens, keypads and glossy photography, so the guest list says it twice before anyone buys the wrong biometric feature.

CHECK HUB LIST
The bouncer is a tape measure.
The security screen has arrived with no booking.

Camera sightline: a screen or storm door in front can block the camera, so eufy does not recommend that arrangement.
Lock architecture: this is designed around a bored deadbolt replacement. Mortice and euro-cylinder doors are different.
Permission: renters and strata properties should settle approval before opening a factory-sealed box.
The actual lock, not a silhouette behind velvet rope.

The guest list changes. The hardware does not.
Household leaves
An enrolled resident can use palm recognition without finding a phone or key. The profile sits on the device, while the physical key remains invited for the person who distrusts every scanner before breakfast.
Delivery reaches the rope
The exterior unit is also a 2K HDR video doorbell with a 150° view. Someone inside can use the four-inch colour screen to see the visitor; the household can also use the eufy app. The scene demonstrates why a security screen in front matters: it may block the camera before the parcel even reaches the pot plant.
Battery desk stays staffed
The rechargeable 15,000mAh battery supports the full feature set. Four AAA cells provide limited backup operation. They are the sober closing-shift plan, not a second full-feature battery pretending the venue can run forever.
See the visitor before the household votes on opening.
The four-inch interior screen gets the quiet room.
The outside doorbell camera supplies the visitor view; the interior colour screen gives people inside a dedicated place to see it. The live camera stream remains a camera feature in the eufy app or on that screen—Matter does not carry the video into Apple Home.
The dedicated screen also makes the product’s all-in-one logic visible: doorbell outside, view inside, entry at the lock. It does not remove the need to check the door architecture, and it does not turn an optional HomeBase 3 into required equipment. Measure before opening.
Think of the inside display as the venue’s quiet observation booth. A visitor presses the outside doorbell, the household gets a dedicated view, and nobody has to crack the door open merely to discover a delivery driver holding next door’s parcel. The useful distinction is where each feature lives: the camera and doorbell are in the exterior assembly, the viewing screen is inside, and entry can still happen through palm, PIN, app, voice or the physical key.
That integration is why the fit check deserves a full scene rather than one small warning. Put another screen door in front and the camera sightline may be blocked; fit the wrong lock architecture and the entire entrance plan stops before opening night. The clever parts only become clever after the ordinary millimetres agree.
What’s through the door.
Exterior lock/camera assembly, interior screen assembly, deadbolt and the mounting hardware packaged by eufy.
Rechargeable battery, AAA backup arrangement, physical keys and installation material supplied in the sealed retail pack.
HomeBase 3 is optional, sold separately and not required for direct operation. It can add supported hub-side storage and features.
eufy states camera streams are not carried through Matter. Live video belongs in the eufy app or the lock’s inside screen, not automatically in Apple Home.

Our typical dispatch window is same-day to 1 business day. No velvet-rope surcharge, no guest-list promoter and no mysterious stamp that ruins a white shirt. During busy periods it can take a little longer; tracking follows once Australia Post has the parcel.
This item carries CamGuard Australia’s own 12-month warranty. It is not a manufacturer warranty, and it sits alongside rights and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Australia Post Express is included on orders over $99.00. Under that threshold, tracked postage is $9.95, with a $12.95 Express upgrade.
Your palm is the key. The tape measure is the referee.
Factory sealed, hub optional, subscription not mandatory—provided your actual front door passes the fit check.
