One camera. A whole city tour.
Climb aboard for the E40’s useful stops: integrated solar in the gardens, colour after dark by the pier, a compulsory HomeBase connection at Flinders Street, and the full contents unpacked at the market.
This is the battery eufyCam E40 model T8144; it is not the PoE E40 model T8P00. It cannot work standalone or through a direct router connection; a compatible supported HomeBase is sold separately.

The one connection you cannot miss.
The current supported-base timetable includes HomeBase 2, HomeBase 3 and HomeBase Professional S1. Features differ by base and firmware; without a compatible base, there is no supported route into service.
Compatible with this E40 add-on camera. Sold separately. Bring the base online before pairing nearby.
Compatible and sold separately. Local recording travels through the HomeBase.
Not a supported setup route. HomeBase Mini compatibility is not promised by this listing either.
Apple HomeKit is supported through a compatible HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3, subject to eufy firmware requirements; HomeBase Professional S1 is also on eufy’s current compatibility schedule. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are also supported through a compatible setup, subject to firmware and platform configuration.
Four useful tags on one very loud wall.
Human, pet, vehicle and general motion detection can help sort activity. Classification still depends on distance, angle, light, placement, obstruction, firmware and sensitivity settings.
Detection categories are filters, not guarantees. The camera records and classifies activity; it does not prevent events or promise a perfect label every time.
Built-in solar, grown in useful light.
The integrated 0.7W panel can add energy when it receives suitable sunlight. Activity, live view, settings, temperature, shade and placement all change consumption and input.
Integrated SolarPlus 2.0 panel. It is built into the camera; an optional external panel is supported but not included.
13,000mAh internal rechargeable battery. No fixed runtime or charge-free outcome is promised.
Weather-resistant outdoor build. Suitable for outdoor placement, not submersion or careless installation.
Charge fully indoors. Then mount where the panel receives the most useful practical sunlight.
Recheck exposure when seasons, foliage, eaves or nearby structures change the shade. Melbourne can fit four forecasts into lunch; the panel still needs actual light.
Useful detail, cut into the right angles.
The E40 records 2K, 4MP video at an enhanced 2688 × 1520 resolution. A wide field of view helps cover a scene; digital review cannot invent detail that distance, glare or motion never captured.

Results vary with placement, distance, motion, lighting, weather, settings and scene contrast. Treat the camera as a useful witness, not a crystal ball with architectural cladding.
Everything in the parcel, priced in plain English.
This renewed parcel includes the standard E40 mounting and charging accessories. The original retail carton is replaced by protective renewed non-retail packaging.

The standard charging cable supplied with the boxed camera.
The standard printed eufyCam E40 Quick Start Guide.

The full spec sheet, up where nobody can miss it.
No tiny type under the grandstand. These are the useful product facts and boundaries in one old-school board.
Three ways to dress the night.
Available light changes the result. The E40 offers MaxColor Vision, infrared and a built-in spotlight rather than pretending every night scene is the same.
Designed to make use of available ambient light for colour viewing. It is not a promise of daylight colour in complete darkness.
The practical option when the scene is genuinely dark and visible colour is unavailable.
Add visible light when colour footage is preferred, subject to placement, distance and settings.
Full-duplex two-way audio uses the built-in microphone and speaker through the eufy Security app. Talk to a visitor; do not negotiate with a penguin.
Three product angles. Three very Melbourne front doors.
These images are assigned to this exact Shopify product. The supplied unit is Manufacturer Renewed (Excellent Condition): near-new cosmetic presentation with light handling marks possible.

Manufacturer-restored, then wearing the top renewed ribbon.
This camera is Manufacturer Renewed (Excellent Condition), not Brand New. Excellent is CamGuard Australia’s top renewed cosmetic grade.
Manufacturer Renewed (Excellent Condition)
The camera was previously used, then refurbished, restored and tested through the manufacturer’s renewal programme. CamGuard Australia describes its cosmetic presentation as Excellent: near-new, with only light handling marks you may have to hunt for.
It is supplied in protective renewed non-retail packaging rather than the original retail box. CamGuard Australia provides its own 12-month in-house warranty; it is not a eufy or Anker manufacturer warranty, and Australian Consumer Law rights also apply.
Top cosmetic grade · manufacturer renewedCamGuard Renewed grading guide
This camera is the Excellent grade shown first. Good and Fair explain the rest of our renewed scale; they do not describe this E40. Those comparison cards describe cosmetic presentation only. Renewal and functional testing remain the manufacturer’s work, while CamGuard Australia describes the exterior condition you should expect. Packaging is stated separately because cosmetic grade and carton presentation are not the same thing.
Near-new cosmetic presentation. If anything, light handling marks you would have to hunt for. Renewed and tested through the manufacturer’s programme.
Clean cosmetic presentation. Signs of previous use show on close inspection. Renewal and testing remain the manufacturer’s work.
Honest cosmetic wear you can see, priced to match. Renewal and testing remain the manufacturer’s work.
Four checks before the ladder leaves the depot.
Charge, connect, pair and test at ground level. Only then should the wall become part of the route.
Give the internal battery a full initial charge using the included USB-C cable and a suitable USB power source.
The battery boards first.Use a compatible supported HomeBase and update the eufy Security app and base firmware where offered.
No base, no service.Add the E40 in the eufy Security app while the camera is close to the compatible HomeBase.
Walls can join later.Check live view, motion test, angle, detection zone and solar exposure before fixing the camera high.
Measure twice. Meet ladder once.Order the camera that suits your table.
The E40 is a strong fit for the right existing eufy system. It is the wrong order if you need standalone service or Brand New presentation.
Queensland support, departing Australia-wide.
The commercial terms belong on the main board, not whispered after you reach the platform.
Australia Post Express is included on every order over $99.00. Under $99.00, shipping is $9.95 tracked or $12.95 Express.
We do our best to dispatch the same day. Same-day to 1 business day is typical. Busy periods can extend that window, though that is rare. Tracking is sent when the parcel moves.
CamGuard Australia’s own 12-month in-house warranty applies. It is not a eufy or Anker manufacturer warranty. Your Australian Consumer Law rights also apply.
Change-of-mind returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery when complete and unused. The buyer pays return postage and original shipping is not refunded. If faulty or not as described, CamGuard Australia covers return postage.

Will the E40 work without a HomeBase?
No. It requires a compatible supported eufy HomeBase, sold separately, and has no supported standalone or direct-to-router route. HomeBase Mini compatibility is not promised here. Pair the camera nearby through the eufy Security app before mounting.
What does Renewed Excellent mean?
The camera was previously used, then refurbished, restored and tested through the manufacturer’s renewal programme. CamGuard Australia describes this unit’s cosmetic presentation as Excellent: near-new, with only light handling marks possible. It arrives in protective renewed non-retail packaging and carries our own 12-month in-house warranty rather than a eufy or Anker manufacturer warranty.
Will solar mean I never charge it?
No fixed runtime or charge-free outcome is promised. The integrated 0.7W panel can add energy in useful light, while activity, live view, settings, temperature, shade and placement change consumption and input. Give the camera a full indoor charge before installation, then choose the sunniest practical position and recheck it as seasonal shade changes.
Does MaxColor work in complete darkness?
MaxColor Vision benefits from available ambient light; it does not promise daylight-like colour where no useful light exists. In complete darkness, infrared is the practical mode. The built-in spotlight can add visible light when colour footage is preferred, subject to the camera’s placement, distance, scene conditions and selected settings.
Apple HomeKit or subscription required?
Apple HomeKit is available through a compatible supported HomeBase subject to eufy firmware requirements. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are also supported through a compatible setup. No monthly subscription is required for local recording through a compatible HomeBase, although optional paid services remain available.
Exactly which accessories arrive?
The parcel includes the mounting bracket/base, positioning template, two mounting screws, two wall plugs, USB-C charging cable and printed Quick Start Guide. A HomeBase, original retail box, 5V USB power adaptor and optional external solar panel are not included. Use the supplied USB-C cable with a suitable USB power source for indoor charging before installation.
How quickly will it dispatch?
We do our best to dispatch orders the same day. Same-day to 1 business day is our typical dispatch time, although busy periods can extend that window, which is rare. Tracking is sent when the parcel moves. Australia Post Express is included on orders over $99.00; under $99.00, tracked shipping is $9.95 or Express is $12.95.
What can detection identify?
Human, pet, vehicle and general motion detection assistance is listed. Classification varies with subject size, distance, lighting, angle, obstruction, placement, firmware and settings. Treat those categories as useful review filters rather than guarantees; results change with the scene, and no detection setting promises a perfect label for every person, pet, vehicle or movement.
End of the tour. Start of the useful part.
