It needs a compatible eufy recorder sold separately. The supported routes documented in the current listing are the PoE NVR S4 or S4 Max, or a HomeBase Professional S1 where exact T8P10 compatibility, regional firmware and support are confirmed before purchase.
24/7 recording belongs to the compatible NVR route. It is not a standalone Wi-Fi camera, not a battery camera and not an extra camera for a HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3 battery-camera setup.

An audible response you can configure within the compatible system. Loud is a feature description; a promised deterrence outcome would be a screenplay note that legal quite correctly removed.
Two-way talk
Speak through the camera when the situation calls for it. “The parcel goes behind the pot” is ordinary audio, not a coded phrase, despite what the jazz bassline is suggesting.

These tools support awareness and response. They are not professional monitoring, a police connection or a substitute for locks, lighting, sensible placement and a broader security plan.

Can the E41 work without another eufy device?
No. The E41 is an add-on PoE camera and cannot operate by itself. It needs a compatible eufy recorder sold separately: the PoE NVR S4 or S4 Max, or a HomeBase Professional S1 where exact T8P10 regional firmware and support have been confirmed. A camera plus cable is not a complete recording system.
Does the camera record continuously?
It can form part of a 24/7 recording setup through a compatible eufy PoE NVR S4 or S4 Max. Actual retention depends on the recorder, hard-drive capacity, settings and camera count. Do not read the 24/7 claim as onboard standalone storage or as a promise that HomeBase Professional S1 behaves identically to the NVR route.

What does the IP67 rating cover?
IP67 is the current exact-model rating for the camera. Installation still needs the network connection correctly protected with the supplied waterproof cover arrangement and the camera mounted according to current instructions. Avoid positions that trap water. Outdoor-rated hardware is not permission to leave a plug joint exposed and hope the rain respects the ensemble cast.
Will I need a registered cabler?
Plug-in Ethernet or PoE patch leads can be handled as a normal DIY connection. If the project involves fixed communications or security cabling through a wall, ceiling or building cavity, that work must be carried out or supervised by an appropriately registered cabler. Confirm the final route before drilling, especially where the cable crosses concealed services.
