Compatibility: Works on its own over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi - live view and alerts need no hub. The camera has no built-in storage: to keep footage, add a microSD card (up to 256 GB, sold separately) or pair it with a HomeBase Mini or HomeBase 3. It is also on eufy’s HomeBase Professional S1 list. No HomeBase 2 route, and no 24/7 continuous recording on this model.

CamGuard Australia presents · C35 Live from the side gate
Season one · white camera · Brand New

Big BackyardAfter Dark

The backyard never signed a release form.

Tonight: one possum, two bins and a cat who continues to deny living here. The white C35 supplies the actual camera work with PureColor low-light viewing, battery power and local-storage choices.

The jokes are improvised. The prop count is not.

One white C35 and five accessory groups report for tonight's shoot. Three optional co-stars were evicted before filming, which saves everyone a very awkward reunion episode.

Episode 01 · season premiere

A proper camera for a deeply unserious cast.

The C35 is a compact white battery camera for a chosen outdoor or indoor zone. It can work directly with suitable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, records in verified 1080p Full HD and keeps the wiring department mercifully small.

Tonight’s featured housemate: the camera.

The white C35 brings an F1.2 lens, 130° field of view, built-in microphone and speaker, a 6,500mAh rechargeable battery and an IP67 ingress-resistance rating.

Its real job is simple: aim at a useful route, connect it properly, choose a recording destination and test the result. The suburban wildlife will manufacture enough plot without assistance.

Previously on the side gateA plastic chair was used as a ladder. Production has declined to renew that storyline.
Episode 02 · meet the housemates

Four contestants. None cleared their appearance fees.

These profiles are comedy, not species-recognition claims. The verified detection categories are people, vehicles and pets, with two configurable activity zones.

Pet · recurring housemate

The neighbour’s cat

Claims to be “just passing through.” Has now passed through every evening since Tuesday.

Vehicle · special guest

The delivery van

Arrives for one scene. Leaves a box. Refuses the reunion episode.

Person · surprise arrival

The person at the gate

May be expected, unexpected or holding a clipboard with alarming confidence.

Prop · no detection promise

The wheelie bin

Has said nothing all season. Still somehow at the centre of every disagreement.

Production note: the cast biographies are fictional. The C35 does not identify possums, bins or neighbourhood personalities. Detection performance depends on placement, distance, lighting, movement, network conditions and settings.
Episode 03 · the late-night broadcast

PureColor keeps the colour department on after sunset.

eufy comparison showing C35 PureColor low-light viewing
PURECOLOR FEEDCAM 01 · LOW LIGHT
Voice-over · hushed for no good reason
“And here, under the cover of darkness… Gary approaches the bin lid he moved yesterday.”

eufy’s PureColor system is designed to retain useful colour in low-light scenes without needing a spotlight for that view. That can make clothes, vehicles and objects easier to interpret than a monochrome image.

It is still low-light imaging—not daylight bottled for later. Ambient light, rain, reflections, distance, nearby walls and camera angle all affect the result.

The sensible subtitleTest the chosen view after dark. If the important route is not clear, adjust the angle or surrounding light rather than asking the possum to hit its mark again.
Episode 04 · behind the scenes

The camera rig moves. Gravity remains on a long-term contract.

Magnetic positioning makes the C35 quick to aim and practical to reach, but a convenient mount still needs a stable installation and a safe location.

4
Plan the next chargeChoose a location you can reach safely. A camera that requires borrowing a ladder from three suburbs away has been poorly cast.
Episode 05 · the casting department

Activity enters the frame. The alert desk starts making calls.

The exact C35 documentation lists people, vehicle and pet detection with two activity zones. Compatible HomeBase features can add facial recognition; detection is not a promise that every event will be perfectly classified.

Two activity zones

Set zones around the parts of the frame that matter. They help focus activity handling, but placement still controls what enters the camera’s view.

The sample times and alert wording above are fictional graphics. Actual app behaviour, alert timing and classification depend on current firmware, app version, network quality, configuration and the scene.
Episode 06 · the archive room

Every episode needs somewhere to go.

The single C35 camera has no built-in recording storage. Choose a supported microSD card or a compatible HomeBase path before expecting a useful local episode archive.

microSD in the camera

Supports a microSD card up to 256GB for direct local recording.

Card sold separately.

HomeBase Mini

A compatible central storage and ecosystem route for C35.

HomeBase Mini is not included.

HomeBase S380

Also supported as a compatible HomeBase path, subject to current setup and firmware requirements.

HomeBase S380 is not included.

HomeBase 2

Not compatible with this C35. The word “HomeBase” alone is not a complete compatibility check.

This contestant has left the house.
Can the C35 work without a HomeBase?

Yes. It can connect directly to a suitable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router. For local recordings in that standalone arrangement, add a supported microSD card because the camera has no built-in recording capacity.

Is a microSD card included?

No. A microSD card is optional and sold separately. The supported on-camera maximum is 256GB.

Episode 07 · production conditions

The weather can join the cast. It still doesn’t get final cut.

The C35 combines a 6,500mAh rechargeable battery, USB-C 5V/2A charging and an IP67 ingress-resistance rating. Runtime varies with activity, clips, live viewing, temperature, Wi-Fi quality and settings.

Episode 08 · eviction night

Six assumptions have been asked to leave the house.

This is the part where the dramatic music stops and the buying boundaries become extremely clear.

24/7 recording

Not supported. The C35 records event-based clips rather than continuous around-the-clock footage.

Built-in storage

None for recordings. Add microSD or use a compatible HomeBase storage route.

Included memory card

No microSD card is supplied in this Brand New retail box.

HomeBase 2

Not compatible. Supported HomeBase paths are Mini and S380.

Fixed battery interval

Runtime changes with activity, live view, clip length, network, temperature and settings.

Guaranteed outcomes

A camera can record and alert within its practical limits. It cannot promise prevention, identification or deterrence.

Episode 09 · from carton to season one

Five production calls before anyone shouts “we’re live.”

1

Open the sealed retail box

Check the supplied camera, magnetic bracket, base, screw pack, cable, guide and warning sticker.

2

Update the eufy app

Charge the camera and follow the current in-app exact-model setup flow.

3

Choose the network path

Use suitable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi directly, or a supported Mini/S380 HomeBase arrangement.

4

Choose the archive

Fit a supported microSD card or configure the compatible HomeBase storage path.

5

Run the night rehearsal

Verify live view, saved events, detection zones, night image, battery status and physical mount security.

Does PureColor make every dark scene look like daytime?

No. PureColor is low-light colour imaging. Available light, rain, reflections, distance, surrounding surfaces and angle affect the result. Test the installed view after dark.

Does IP67 mean the camera can be installed carelessly?

No. Follow current sealing, charging and mounting instructions. Keep charging connections dry, close protective covers correctly and do not treat an ingress-resistance rating as permission for immersion or insecure installation.

Can compatible HomeBase features change detection?

The camera’s verified categories are people, vehicles and pets. Compatible HomeBase features can add facial recognition. Exact behaviour can depend on current firmware, app version and system configuration.

What affects the time between charges?

Event frequency, recording duration, live viewing, Wi-Fi quality, temperature and settings all matter. A quiet side gate and a busy footpath should not be expected to produce the same battery interval.
