A genuine eufy Security NVR System E50 4-Cam Kit for the driveway, shed, side gate and the bit of yard nobody agrees is a bit of yard. Each camera brings an upper 2K fixed view and a lower 4K PTZ view. The relay baton is the tracked subject. The cable is the route. The NVR is the official with the clipboard.

Upper lens: 2K fixed at 115 degrees. Lower lens: 4K PTZ with 360 degree tracking and 5x digital zoom. It is a hybrid system, so the headline is not “four cameras in 4K”.

Privacy note: manufacturer copy describes on-device AI processing and no monthly fee. Alerts, tracking and search still depend on installation, field of view, settings, connectivity, storage and scene conditions.

Is every camera in this kit 4K?

No. Each camera is a hybrid dual-lens unit. The upper lens is a 2K fixed lens with a 115 degree view, while the lower lens is 4K PTZ with 360 degree tracking and 5x digital zoom. The broad view and detail view have different jobs, like the reliable kid on lap two and the kid who suddenly finds a sprint.

Does the NVR record around the clock?

The official product copy describes continuous 24/7 local recording through the NVR. Actual results depend on the installed system, hard drive condition, cabling, power, settings, firmware and scene conditions. A recorder stores footage. It does not make a guarantee that an event will be prevented or every detail captured.

What does PoE mean here?

Power over Ethernet carries power and video data over a suitable Ethernet cable to the wired cameras. You still need sensible cable routes, correct installation and a network arrangement that suits the property. An additional PoE switch is needed when you expand the system beyond the direct NVR port arrangement.

Can I add more cameras later?

The official page describes an 8-port NVR that supports up to 8 cameras and expansion to 16 channels via an additional PoE switch. Additional cameras, switch hardware, storage and installation are separate decisions. Check model compatibility and current firmware before buying add-ons. The roster can grow, but the oval still needs room.

Is the Wi-Fi Module in the carton?

No. The eufy Wi-Fi Module is sold separately. This kit is presented around wired PoE cameras and the NVR. The linked listing describes the module for eufy NVR S4/S4 Max, so do not assume compatibility with every NVR generation; confirm the current route before ordering.
