How it’s wired

One cable each. Power and picture.

It’s a PoEPower over Ethernet: one network cable carries power and data. kit. Each camera gets its own Ethernet run back to the recorder, carrying its power and its video.

The NVR E50 handles 16 real-time streams. Each E50 uses two, one per lens, so it runs up to eight. Your kit fills four.

Is every lens 4K?

No. Each camera pairs an upper 2K fixed lens (115°) with a lower 4K pan-and-tilt lens that tracks through 360°.

Can I add cameras later?

Yes, up to eight E50 cameras in total, sold separately. Each uses two of the NVR’s 16 streams.

Will the cameras work with my HomeBase?

Not with HomeBase 2, 3 or Mini. They do run on a eufy PoE NVR S4 or a HomeBase Professional S1.

Can I watch on a TV?

Yes. Plug the NVR into a monitor or TV with the HDMI cable and drive it with the USB mouse. The screen isn’t included.

When will my order leave Townsville?

Privacy note: eufy copy describes on-device AI processing and no monthly fee. Alerts, tracking and search still depend on installation, field of view, settings, connectivity, storage and scene conditions.

Is every camera in this kit 4K?

No. Each camera is a hybrid dual-lens unit. The upper lens is a 2K fixed lens with a 115 degree view, while the lower lens is 4K PTZ with 360 degree tracking and 5x digital zoom. The two lenses serve different viewing jobs.

Does the NVR record around the clock?

The official product copy describes continuous 24/7 local recording through the NVR. Actual results depend on the installed system, hard drive condition, cabling, power, settings, firmware and scene conditions. A recorder stores footage. It does not make a guarantee that an event will be prevented or every detail captured.

What does PoE mean here?

Power over Ethernet carries power and video data over a suitable Ethernet cable to the wired cameras. You still need sensible cable routes, correct installation and a network arrangement that suits the property. An additional PoE switch is needed when you expand the system beyond the direct NVR port arrangement.

Can I add more cameras later?

The official FAQ specifies sixteen real-time streams, with two used by each E50 camera. That means up to eight E50 cameras; the sixteen-channel expansion wording does not mean sixteen E50 cameras. Additional cameras, switch hardware, storage and installation are separate decisions. Check model compatibility and current firmware before buying add-ons. Plan the switch, storage and cable routes before expanding.

Is the Wi-Fi Module in the carton?

No. The eufy Wi-Fi Module is sold separately. This kit is presented around wired PoE cameras and the NVR. The linked listing describes the module for eufy NVR S4/S4 Max, so do not assume compatibility with every NVR generation; confirm the current route before ordering. The official render shows the cameras, NVR, hard drive and cable loops, not the module.
