The honest bit
Every kit has trade-offs. Here are the C37's, stated plainly, so there are no surprises on mounting day.
Note 01 — It's 2K, not 4K. That's the deal that makes a four-camera-plus-hub kit cost this little. 2K is still 77% more pixels than 1080p — but if you want maximum per-camera detail, eufy's dearer S-series is the lane.
Note 02 — No Apple HomeKit. Alexa and Google Assistant are supported; HomeKit isn't — eufy states it outright. A HomeKit household should look elsewhere.
Note 03 — The cameras don't store footage on their own out of the box. Clips live on the included HomeBase Mini. Each camera can take its own microSD card (up to 256GB) — but cards are sold separately, none are included.
Note 04 — It records events, not 24/7. Motion-triggered clips, not continuous around-the-clock footage — eufy is explicit that 24/7 recording isn't supported on the C37.
Note 05 — IP65 weatherproofing. Rain, dust and Queensland summers are fine; it's a step below the IP67 rating on some dearer eufy models. Under an eave is its happy place.
Note 06 — Four cameras is four mounting jobs. Budget an afternoon with the ladder and the cordless, not ten minutes. The panels are detachable, so aim each one at the sun and the job's done properly once.

Do I need to buy a HomeBase?
No — that's the point of this kit. The HomeBase Mini is in the box, and the four cameras record to it out of the box. If you already run a HomeBase 3 (S380), the C37s can pair to that instead (firmware V3.7.8.4 or later). HomeBase 2 is not compatible.
Are there any monthly fees?
None. Footage saves to the Mini's 8GB — expandable to 1TB with a microSD card — and no subscription is required for core features, ever.
Does it work with Apple HomeKit?
No. eufy states plainly that Apple Home / HomeKit is not supported on the C37. Alexa and Google Assistant are.
What happens when the 8GB fills up?
It loop-records over the oldest clips. Want a longer archive? One microSD card grows the base to 1TB — and any camera can also run standalone on its own card (up to 256GB). Cards sold separately.
Will the solar keep up?
Each camera has its own detachable 3W panel and up to 45 days of battery in reserve (eufy's rating at 75 events/day) — angle the panels at the sun and the maths takes care of itself, with the battery there for the grey weeks.
