CamGuard Ads Studio privacy notice

CamGuard Ads Studio privacy notice

Updated 5 September 2026. This notice describes Google account data used by CamGuard Ads Studio, a private advertising workspace operated by CamGuard Australia for its authorised staff. It supplements our general privacy policy.

Information the studio accesses

When an account holder connects Google Ads, the studio can access the authorised advertising account's identity, currency, timezone, campaign names and settings, budgets, bidding and targeting information, advertising assets, and requested advertising reports. The Google Ads permission also permits account management. The studio uses separate approval controls for advertising submissions.

The studio separately uses product information, images and prices from CamGuard's configured product sources, including Shopify, together with staff-written creative briefs and review decisions. These product sources are separate from the Google account connection.

How information is used

Google account information is used to identify the correct CamGuard account, display and review its advertising settings and reports, check proposed campaign submissions, and carry out explicitly approved advertising actions. Account data is not sold or used to build advertising profiles for unrelated parties.

Storage and retention

Native Google connection credentials, including the refresh token, are stored in macOS Keychain on the authorised computer. The local application stores working records such as report snapshots, campaign proposals, approval and submission records, creative projects and exports. Those records remain until an authorised administrator removes them. Device backups and any folders deliberately synced or shared by CamGuard are subject to the settings chosen for those systems.

Services receiving information

Native account checks and approved advertising requests are sent to Google over encrypted connections. The existing reporting integration also uses the TrueClicks Google Ads connector at api.claudeppc.ai; that provider processes the configured reporting requests and returned advertising data. Its existing connection is separate from the native Google credentials.

When staff request AI creative assistance, the studio sends the selected product facts, creative brief and any supplied revision notes to the selected AI service. Staff should not place unrelated private information in those notes. The current automatic creative requests do not include the native Google account credentials, account settings or advertising reports. Staff should not paste those credentials or unrelated Google account data into creative notes. Google account credentials are not included in downloadable creative packs.

Google API information is handled under Google's API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google API data must not be repurposed for unrelated uses or general-purpose AI training.

Access and security

The studio is intended for authorised staff using CamGuard's devices and accounts. Access depends on the device, local application, Google account permissions and the services involved. The studio does not publish account credentials or private advertising reports on this website.

Disconnecting and deleting information

The Google account holder can revoke CamGuard Ads Studio's connection through Google Account connections. Revoking access stops future authorised API access but does not automatically delete saved local reports, exports, or advertisements already submitted to Google.

An authorised CamGuard administrator can remove the native Keychain credential and associated local studio records. Advertising records held by Google and data processed by other configured services remain subject to those services' controls and policies. To request assistance with access or deletion, contact support@camguardaustralia.com.au.
