Warm white to cool white, anywhere from 2,700 K to 6,500 K, chosen in the eufy app.
RGB sides add preset ambience and alert colours. They don’t adjust.

Power and mounting

Charged by sun, not by mains.

No mains wiring. Screw it to the wall, or use a hook for a temporary spot; eufy recommends screws for the long term.

No. It runs on its 10,000 mAh battery, topped up by the solar panel. It screws to the wall or hangs on a hook.

Do I need a HomeBase?

No. It records to the 32 GB inside. HomeBase 3 (S380) is optional; HomeBase 2, HomeBase Mini and Professional S1 are not compatible.

Can the light stay on all night?

No. eufy says the battery design doesn’t support always-on lighting.

When will my order leave Townsville?

Adaptive lighting

Warm. Cool. Colour.

The centre panel runs from 2700 K warm white to 6500 K cool white at up to 500 lumens, dimmable from 1 to 100 per cent. Side LEDs add RGB for ambience and alerts.

Colour temperature and brightness adjust on the white section only. The RGB side LEDs are fixed effects rather than a colour picker, and 500 lumens is the eufy maximum.

60 GHz mmWave radar

Radar reads motion. The camera records it.

Radar motion detection has a published 120 degree field and range up to 12 metres. The camera supports AI classification for people, vehicles and pets; detection and classification depend on the scene and settings.

Solar and battery

Three hours of sun. A day and a night.

The solar panel detaches, so the panel can sit in the sun while the light sits where you need it.

eufy rates the built-in 10,000 mAh battery at around two months of average use, and three hours of direct sun for a full day and night of running. Your wall, your weather and how busy the driveway is will move those numbers.

Installation

Mounts three ways.

Wall mount, panel on top.

The everyday fit. Screw the bracket to the wall, hang the fitting, and the solar panel rides on the roof of the unit where the sun can reach it.

Wall mount, panel on its cable.

If the wall sits in shade, detach the panel and run it along its cable to a sunnier spot. The light stays by the door and the panel goes where the sun is.

Hook mount, for now.

Hang it from a hook for a quick or temporary spot. eufy recommends screw mounting for the long term so the fitting cannot fall or walk off.

Camera angle

Tilt by hand. Then it stays.

Mount it 1.8 to 2.5 metres up, then tilt the camera up to 45 degrees to frame the drive, the side path or the yard.

The angle is set by hand and stays put. There is no motor, no auto-adjust and no tracking, so choose the spot before you drill.

Storage and hub

No hub. No monthly fee.

Recordings live on 32 GB of built-in eMMC storage. There is no microSD slot and no subscription needed to record or review clips in the eufy Security app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
