eufy states that around three hours of daily sunlight can maintain the S220 under optimal conditions. Its integrated 0.9W panel is rated to collect roughly 200–400mAh per day, while average camera use is stated at roughly 100–130mAh across a day and night.
That is not a universal guarantee. Shade, panel angle, clouds, dust, temperature, event frequency, clip length, live viewing and Wi-Fi quality can change the balance. Mount the panel where it receives useful direct light and inspect its real battery trend in the app.

No spotlight. No colour night vision. No confusing it with another S220.
The SoloCam S220 T8134 uses infrared night vision. After dark, expect a monochrome image—not a spotlight-lit colour scene. Its f/1.6 lens and 2K sensor support the night view, but distance, rain, reflective surfaces, angle and scene conditions affect usable detail.
Test the installed view after dark. A wall close to the lens or poorly aimed framing can dominate the image while the route you care about quietly waits in Bay 2.
Order correction: if colour night vision is essential, this is not the correct camera. Choose a compatible spotlight-equipped model instead.

Can I use the camera without any HomeBase?
Yes. It can work standalone through suitable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, using its built-in 8GB eMMC storage for event clips.
Is the camera refurbished because there is no box?
No. New No Box means new and unused, supplied without the individual retail carton. It is not renewed or refurbished stock.
What exactly arrives in the parcel?

Will three hours of sunlight always keep it charged?
No universal result is promised. Three hours is eufy’s figure under optimal conditions. Panel angle, direct light, shade, dust, weather, activity, recording length, live viewing and Wi-Fi quality affect the real battery balance.
Is the night vision in colour?
No. This exact S220 uses infrared monochrome night vision and has no spotlight. Choose a spotlight-equipped model if colour after dark is essential.
Does IP67 mean it can be installed carelessly?
No. Follow current mounting and sealing instructions, close the charging-port cover properly and keep charging connections dry. An IP rating is not permission for immersion or an insecure wall fixing.
Does the 8GB storage record continuously?
No. The S220 is an event-recording camera and does not support continuous recording. The built-in 8GB storage is fixed; there is no microSD, NAS or RTSP route.
