No. The E42 can connect directly to your 2.4 GHz router. For standalone local recording, add a microSD card up to 128 GB. Neither a card nor a HomeBase is supplied.
What does Manufacturer Renewed Good mean?
The unit has been through the manufacturer’s renewal process. Good is a cosmetic grade with light marks you may notice up close. Packaging can vary. We do not claim to have tested your individual unit.
Will it record all day from solar power?
Do not plan on battery-and-solar continuous recording. For all-day recording, plan for direct power and a HomeBase 3 with a hard drive fitted; confirm the exact unit, cable and firmware first. Solar performance varies with sunlight and demand.
Can I use it with Apple Home?
Yes, through a HomeBase 3. Apple Home does not work with this camera standalone or through a HomeBase 2. Alexa and Google Assistant are also supported.
