Compatibility: Works on its own over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi - no HomeBase needed. Live view, alerts and two-way talk work out of the box; to keep footage on the camera, add a Class-10 microSD card (up to 128 GB, sold separately). Optional: HomeBase 3 (sold separately) for central storage up to 16 TB; HomeBase Mini and HomeBase Professional S1 are also supported.

Avoid
Outdoor or damp areas, strong window glare, spots within 0.2 m of walls or objects (infrared reflections), blocked pan-tilt movement, and private spaces.

Does it need a HomeBase?

No. It connects directly to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. HomeBase 3/S380 is optional for supported storage; HomeBase 2/S280 is unsupported.

Can it record continuously?

Yes, while continuously powered and fitted with compatible local storage, such as your own microSD card up to 128GB.

Can it go outside?

No. It is indoor-only and has no outdoor weather rating.

Who provides the warranty?

CamGuard Australia provides its own 12-month in-house warranty, alongside Australian Consumer Law rights.
