The T8705 model can support compatible Micro-USB-era eufy cameras when the required official adapter and camera cover are present; this particular parcel includes a one-page quick-start guide but does not include the Micro-USB adapter or camera covers. The new and unused kit-separated panel has an attached 2 m USB-C lead and is supplied in protective non-retail packaging without an individual retail carton.

The camera belongs where it can see the yard, gate or driveway. The panel belongs where it can see real direct sun. The adjustable bracket and attached lead let those two positions be different.

Angle the panel toward the best patch of direct sunlight, even when the camera faces somewhere else.
After useful sunlight, check the camera’s normal eufy app for solar input and watch its battery trend. One sunny afternoon is not a lifetime guarantee.
The roofline route

The ball-joint-style mount gives the panel broad adjustment. The attached USB-C lead is 2 m long, giving you room to place the panel in useful sunlight while the camera keeps the right view.

Avoid a drip path into the camera port and do not leave a loose cable loop as a snag point. The lead carries charge; it is not structural rope.

The connector distinction is physical, not a setting. Check the charging port on the actual camera before ordering.
This stock’s attached 2 m lead connects directly to compatible USB-C cameras. Micro-USB-era cameras need the correct adapter and model-specific camera cover, neither of which is in this parcel.
eufyCam 2, 2 Pro, 2C and 2C Pro are supported by the T8705 model when the official USB-C-to-Micro-USB adapter and matching camera cover are fitted. This split-kit stock does not include those pieces.

No adapter or weatherproofing gasket set is hiding elsewhere in the parcel. eufy does not sell that accessory set separately and neither does CamGuard Australia. If your camera has Micro-USB, you would need to source a suitable third-party adapter yourself and preserve the camera’s own weather-sealing requirements.
Outdoor shift conditions
IP65 handles weather. Shade still wins the performance argument.
The T8705 is rated IP65 for normal outdoor rain and dust exposure when mounted correctly. That does not mean submersion, pressure washing or leaving a connector pointed upward like a tiny rain gauge.
Keep the panel face reasonably clean and check that leaves, dust or bird commentary are not blocking useful light. Use a safe cleaning method from the ground where possible.
No “forever power” promise: solar input varies with direct sun, season, shade, temperature and camera workload. A busy or shaded camera may still need occasional manual charging.

Will it work with a Micro-USB eufy camera?
Not out of the parcel. eufyCam 2, 2 Pro, 2C and 2C Pro need a USB-C-to-Micro-USB adapter. This New No Box stock does not include the retail pack’s adapter or weatherproofing gaskets, so you would need to source a suitable adapter separately.
Does the listing include a camera?
No camera is included. The parcel contains the panel with 2 m attached USB-C lead, 360° mounting bracket, screw pack, a printed setup page and an install drill-guide sticker.
Will I never have to charge again?
That cannot be guaranteed. Shade, season, camera activity and temperature affect solar input. A busy or shaded camera may still need occasional manual charging.
Does the panel need an app or subscription?
No separate app, account or subscription is required for the panel. The connected camera keeps its normal eufy app and network requirements.
Is it weatherproof?
It carries an IP65 rating. Correct mounting, safe cable routing and proper connection at the camera remain essential. Follow the camera’s own port-seal requirements.
What exactly is included in this New No Box parcel?
