Battery

eufy’s rating for the rechargeable battery. It records events and doesn’t record continuously; activity, settings and conditions change the real interval.

Storage

The hub keeps the footage.

The 3C sends each event clip to its HomeBase, which keeps the footage. eufy lists no memory card slot on the camera.

Good to know.

Is a renewed unit worse at its job than a new one?

No. The grade describes the housing, not the electronics. A renewed unit runs the same published spec sheet; the difference is cosmetic marks and the packaging.

Will it work with my HomeBase 2 or HomeBase Mini?

No. eufy’s 3C page says it needs a HomeBase 3, and the Professional S1 runs it too. Neither HomeBase 2 nor the Mini does.

Does it work with Apple Home?

No. eufy’s 3C page says it is not compatible with Apple HomeKit at this time. It does work with Alexa and the Google Assistant.

Can I add a solar panel?

Yes, if it’s the right one. The 3C has no built-in panel and charges through a USB-C port. eufy names its 2.6 W Solar Panel Charger (T8700) for the 3C. That panel has a Micro-USB lead, and eufy’s 3C spec sheet says the camera needs a USB-C adapter to use a separate panel. Our 3 W Solar Panel (T8705) isn’t on eufy’s list for the 3C, so it isn’t a fit. With an add-on panel, the eufy app doesn’t show a solar Power Dashboard for the 3C, and that’s normal.

When will my order leave Townsville?

The paintwork has had a life. The picture specification has not: 4K, 3840 × 2160. Fair carries the heaviest cosmetic marks in this ladder. No soft-focus introduction.

A compatible HomeBase is required and sold separately. This camera cannot work alone. One camera is supplied; HomeBase 3 is not included.

Is Fair a polite word for almost new?

No. Fair is the most visibly worn rung, with the heaviest cosmetic marks in this set. It has been previously used, then refurbished and tested through eufy's renewal programme. The 4K specification remains; the exterior does not acquire a fresh rental sleeve.

Can I take it home without the base?

You can buy the camera, but it cannot operate without a compatible HomeBase. That required base is sold separately and is not included here. This is an add-on for that setup, not a standalone system. Rewinding the question produces the same answer.

Will it really go 180 days between charges?

Up to 180 days is the published battery estimate for a single charge. Actual endurance depends on use and settings, so it is not a six-month appointment we can promise. Recharge the lithium battery as needed; a blinking VCR clock is not a battery tester.

What weather rating does it have?

IP65, as eufy rates the 3C for rain and dust. Neither the decorative rain nor the era setting adds a new durability promise to this camera.

Who handles the twelve-month warranty?

CamGuard Australia provides our own 12-month warranty. It is not a manufacturer warranty. eufy's renewal programme is responsible for refurbishment and testing; that is separate from the warranty you receive from us. We do not claim to have tested your individual camera.

When does the parcel leave the counter?

We do our best to send orders the same day. Same-day to one business day is our typical dispatch time; busy periods can extend it, although that is rare. The shipping charges are shown below. Dispatch timing describes sending your parcel, not its arrival date.
