This is an add-on camera. It pairs to a eufy HomeBase 2 (the hub), which is NOT included. There's no standalone or Wi-Fi-only mode — without a compatible HomeBase, it can't be set up at all. If you don't already own one, buy a kit instead of this add-on. We'd rather tell you now than have it arrive and disappoint you.
It's Manufacturer Renewed — not brand new.
Professionally inspected, tested and restored to full working order, in renewed packaging. It works like new and may carry minor cosmetic marks. If factory-sealed and flawless is a must, this isn't the one — and that's fair.
It charges via Micro-USB (not USB-C).
The 2C Pro uses a Micro-USB charging port, and the cable's included. A full charge takes about 5 hours and lasts up to 180 days. Any standard 5V USB charger does the job (a wall plug isn't included — most people have a spare).
It's 2K, not 4K.
2K (2304 × 1296) is sharp and genuinely useful for IDs and detail — but if you specifically need 4K, this isn't that camera. For a battery cam at this price, 2K is the sweet spot for clarity vs battery life.
It's battery + event-based by default.
Like most wire-free cameras, it records on motion rather than 24/7 continuous — that's the trade-off that gets you 180-day battery life and no cables. Heavy traffic in front of the lens will shorten time between charges.

Make sure your HomeBase 2 is online.
This camera pairs to an existing eufy HomeBase 2. Open the eufy Security app and confirm your HomeBase is set up and connected first.

Charge the camera.
Top it up with the included Micro-USB cable (about 5 hours for a full charge). The status light goes off when it's done.

Add it in the app & sync.
In the eufy Security app, choose "add device", pick eufyCam 2C Pro, and press the SYNC button on the camera when prompted to pair it to your HomeBase.

Mount it & aim.
Screw the bracket to the wall (2–3 m up works best), clip the camera on, and fine-tune the angle using the live view. Done — patrol commences.
Pro Tip: Mount it 2–3 m high, tilt it slightly down, and keep it out of direct sunlight in the lens. Test signal to your HomeBase from the spot first (the app has a built-in signal checker).
