What "New No Box" actually means
The camera is new and has never been used. We buy eufy multi-camera kits, split them into individual units, and pass the kit discount on — that's the whole trick. What you don't get is the single-unit retail colour box, because there never was one for this unit. It's drawn opposite anyway, for the sake of completeness.
You still receive the full accessory set — camera, solar panel, mounting bracket, screws and guide — carefully packed in plain protective packaging. To be crystal clear: this is not refurbished or renewed stock; it's an unused, never-installed unit that's simply travelled without its cardboard — and because it isn't factory-sealed in its original retail box, we list it as "New No Box" rather than "Brand New".

The honest bit
Every camera has trade-offs. Here are the S340's, stated plainly on the record, so there are no surprises on mounting day.
Note 01 — 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. It won't join a 5GHz-only network — most routers broadcast both, but check yours first.
Note 02 — No Apple HomeKit. Alexa and Google Assistant are supported; HomeKit isn't. If your house runs on HomeKit, this isn't your camera.
Note 03 — Storage is fixed at 8GB. There's no microSD slot — it loop-records over the oldest event clips. If you want expandable storage, that's the optional HomeBase 3 (sold separately).
Note 04 — Solar needs sun. In a deeply shaded spot you'll top the battery up occasionally by USB — though the reserve holds around 3 months, so "occasionally" really means occasionally.
Note 05 — It records events, not 24/7. Like all battery solar cams, it captures motion-triggered clips rather than continuous around-the-clock footage.
Note 06 — There's no retail box. The unit ships in plain protective packaging. If it's a gift and the box matters, this listing isn't the one — the camera itself is new and unused either way.

Frequently asked questions
Does it need a HomeBase?
No — the S340 is fully standalone. It connects straight to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and stores footage onboard. A HomeBase 3 is an optional extra that adds expandable storage and face recognition, not a requirement.
Are there any monthly fees?
None. Event clips save to the built-in 8GB storage. There's no subscription required for core features, ever.
Does it work with Apple HomeKit?
No. It supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant only.
What happens when the 8GB fills up?
It loop-records — the oldest event clips are overwritten automatically. If you want a longer archive, pairing an optional HomeBase 3 adds expandable storage.
Will the solar keep up in winter or shade?
A couple of hours of direct sun a day keeps it running indefinitely. In a shaded spot, the battery holds roughly 3 months on its own, and you can top it up by USB when needed.
Why is there no retail box — is it used?
Not used, not opened-and-returned. We buy eufy multi-camera kits and split them into singles, so the individual retail box never existed for this unit. The camera is new and unused; it ships securely in plain protective packaging with all accessories.
Who covers the warranty?
We do. Every unit carries CamGuard's in-house 12-month warranty — it's our warranty, not a manufacturer warranty — in addition to your Australian Consumer Law rights.
