2304×1296 through an f/1.6 lens, with infrared night vision after dark. Enough detail to tell a delivery driver from a stranger, which is usually the question you're actually asking.

The camera
New, never used. Not refurbished, not a return, not restored. It has not been out of the packaging for anything other than moving it.
The retail box
Damaged. Dented, crushed or torn — cosmetic damage to the outer carton only. If the box matters to you (a gift, a collector's shelf), this is the wrong listing and you want the sealed one.
Why we call it "Box Damaged"
We list this as New (Box Damaged) rather than Brand New, because "brand new" should mean a factory-sealed carton in perfect nick. This isn't that. The camera is.
Sun is not optional
The solar panel only works where there's real sun. Mount it under a deep eave or on a permanently shaded south wall and you'll be charging it by cable like everyone else.
Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz
Like most outdoor cameras, it wants a 2.4GHz network. If your router hides 2.4GHz behind a single combined SSID, you may need to split the bands to get it onboarded.

How bad is the box, really?
Dented, crushed or torn — cosmetic damage to the outer carton. The photos on this listing are of the actual unit, so what you see is what turns up. If the packaging matters to you, buy the sealed one instead.
Has the camera been used?
No. It's new and unused — this isn't a refurbished or returned unit. Only the packaging is affected.
Do I need a HomeBase?
No. The E30 is standalone — it runs on Wi-Fi with the eufy Security app. A HomeBase is optional if you already have one.
Is there a monthly fee?
No subscription is required for recording or detection.
Will the solar keep it charged?
In a spot with a few hours of real direct sun a day, generally yes. In shade it won't keep up and you'll be charging it by cable — placement does the work here, not the panel.
Is it 4K?
No — the SoloCam E30 is a 2K camera (2304×1296). We'd rather tell you now than have you open the app and wonder.
