New · no retail box Runs on sunshine ☀️ Ships free from Townsville

The eufyCam C37 runs on sunshine. You live in Australia. You see where this is going.

A detachable solar panel, up to 45 days of battery, and colour night vision that makes 2am look like late arvo.

Straight up · the condition

New camera. No fancy box. Keener price.

Full disclosure, because that is just how we do it: this C37 is brand new and completely unused. The only thing it is missing is the glossy retail box it would have shipped in.

It travels to you double-boxed in proper protective packaging, which frankly looks after it better than the original carton ever did. Same camera, same 12-month CamGuard warranty, same Australian Consumer Law cover. You are simply not paying extra for cardboard you were going to flatten and shove in the recycling on bin night anyway.

Last night · 02:14

Something just tipped over the green bin. 2:14am. Statistically it is a possum with an agenda and zero remorse, but your brain has already written, cast and pitched a three-part true-crime series before you have even sat up properly.

Here is the new version of that night. You do not get up. You roll over, squint at your phone, and there it is in 2K colour: one (1) possum, mid-heist, fully identified, going absolutely nowhere in life with that attitude. You watch four seconds of it, snort, and go back to sleep like a functioning adult.

You did not charge the camera to make that happen. You are never going to charge the camera. That is the sun's job now, and the sun has been clocking on over Australia for roughly four billion years without a single sickie.

12:15 · Full sun

Six reasons it earns its spot on your wall

The full 360°, on a swivel

Pan, tilt, the lot. AI auto-tracking locks onto whoever wanders in and keeps them dead centre while they move, and the 127° lens mops up the edges. Someone takes the scenic route across your driveway and the camera turns its head and watches the entire performance like a disappointed parent. You, meanwhile, keep watching the cricket.

360°

One panel. Zero ladders.

The 3W solar panel detaches and lives on its own bracket, so the camera goes where the trouble is and the panel goes where the sun actually lands. No more bolting your security to the one shady corner just to be near a power point. And if the wet season throws a fortnight-long tantrum, the 6,700mAh battery shrugs and keeps going up to 45 days on its own.

Knows the postie from a prowler

Smart AI sorts people from vehicles from pets, so your phone buzzes for the bloke at your gate and stays politely silent for every moth, gum leaf and overconfident bin chicken.

Colour night vision, not ghost footage

eufy reckons the built-in spotlight and 2K colour night vision pull faces, number plates and shirt colours out of pitch black. So your 2am footage looks like actual evidence, not a low-budget paranormal doco where everyone's a grey smudge.

Doesn't chuck a sickie in the rain

IP65 weatherproof. Storm season, red dust, that one feral hail arvo that dents every ute on the street. It clocks on regardless. Yes, it works in the rain. We checked, then checked again, because this is Australia.

Zero subscription. Not now, not later, not "introductory pricing".

No monthly fees and no cloud plan you'll forget to cancel until it has quietly nibbled your account for three years. Footage saves to local storage with what eufy calls bank-grade encryption, and it stays yours. Wild idea, charging nothing for the thing you already bought.

What you'll actually get

Since this one ships without the original retail box, the listing photos are the source of truth for the exact bundle. As a new, unused unit you would normally expect:

  • The eufyCam C37 camera itself, new and unused. The star of the show.
  • The detachable 3W solar panel plus its mounting bracket.
  • Camera mounting bracket and a USB-C charging cable.
  • Screws and fittings, packed safe in protective packaging.

No retail box and no microSD card (cards are sold separately regardless). Check the photos to confirm exactly what is included with this unit.

The fine detail

Storage and compatibility, straight answers

  • microSD up to 256GB. Sold separately, bring your own.
  • HomeBase 3. Optional, adds storage. Not required.
  • HomeBase Mini. Also optional, also adds storage.
  • eufy Security app. Version 6.0.10 or newer. Required.
  • HomeBase 2. Not compatible. Those two will not be friends.
  • Apple HomeKit. Not compatible, no workaround.

Questions people actually ask

Brand new but no box? What's the catch?

No catch, just honest sorting. The camera is new and unused, it simply does not come in the original retail box. It ships in protective packaging that, hand on heart, protects it better than a thin retail carton would.

New stock, full warranty, keener price. The cardboard is the only thing missing, and the cardboard never stopped a single burglar.

Do I need a HomeBase?

Nope. The C37 runs on its own with a microSD card and you're away. If you already own a HomeBase 3 or HomeBase Mini, it'll happily join the family for extra storage. HomeBase 2 is the one exception: those two simply do not get along, and no amount of couples counselling will fix it.

Does it record 24/7?

No, and we'd rather say it to your face than bury it in fine print. The C37 records motion events, not a continuous around-the-clock feed. It's on watch all night, it just doesn't bother saving six hours of an empty driveway doing nothing.

That trade is exactly what buys you up to 45 days of battery. If you genuinely need rolling 24/7 footage, this isn't your camera, and we'd much rather tell you here than in a returns email.

Is there a subscription?

No. Zero monthly fees, no cloud plan required for the core features. Your footage lives on local storage with what eufy calls bank-grade encryption. That's not a launch promo that quietly expires in March. That's just how it's built.

Is the microSD card included?

It isn't, and we'd rather you find out now than at 9pm halfway through setup. The C37 takes microSD cards up to 256GB. If you've got a spare one rattling around in a drawer next to 14 dead batteries and a takeaway menu, today is its big day.

What if my camera spot barely gets any sun?

That's the whole trick of the detachable design. The solar panel comes off and mounts separately, so the camera watches the dodgy dark corner while the panel sunbakes somewhere useful a few metres away. Worst case, with no sun at all, the 6,700mAh battery still carries up to 45 days per charge, then you top it up with the included USB-C cable. The 45-day figure is eufy's estimate and shifts with how busy your yard is.

23:59 · Still watching

The sun comes up tomorrow anyway. Might as well put it on the payroll.

Add the eufyCam C37 to your cart and you're basically done. It handles the night shift, the charging and the possum admin. You handle the sleeping.
